Hotel Provincial was great. Why 4-stars instead of 5? The hotel is older, but in very good condition. That is my only reason. Otherwise, the staff was great. They were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The manager on duty when I checked in, Tony, took the time to show me on a map sites to see as well as restaurants to try. The location for the hotel is second to none. It's in the midst of the French Quarter but within walking distance to the Central Business District as well as many other areas. My stay was excellent. I'd stay there again and would recommend it visitors who are looking for accommodations.

The staff was so kind. The hotel is beautiful and the pool was cool after walking around the city. It’s quiet at night. We really enjoyed the beds too- very comfy. Would stay here again close to everything.

We were put on the 4th floor of building 5. I had read it was the haunted building. I am not a ghost believer but i did ask to be somewhere other than building 5. I did not get my wish. Nothing scary happened of course. Still, it would have been a better experience if i had veen given a better room location as requested.

It was a good location, not too far from Frenchman St and the French Market. A bit of a hike to the main area of Bourbon St. enjoyed the small courtyard outside our room. The only complaint is there was an unpleasant odor in our room.
