Ok stay. Elevators, especially No 1, is very slow. Breakfast bar has an adequate munchies and an array of coffees. Full breakfast service on the dining side is very slow and lacks a bit of attention to detail (45 min wait for porridge, over easy eggs arrived “over hard”. The Holmes Bar closes early (10pm) and seems not able to serve tea or coffee later in the evening. They also did not have a specific draft beer three nights in a row.

It was a great hotel but there were a few things that went wrong. We had to ask on our second day for toilet paper that never came till the afternoon. The door to our room had a loose screw that kept the door from shutting completely that we had to had to keep fixing. On our last night at 12 in the morning while we’re sleeping the battery in the smoke detector was going out so we were asked to move rooms or stay, we decided to stay since it was so late and we’d be reimbursed a night of parking, that didn’t happen. After all this, stepped on the balcony to men pulling pants down by the pool. Called front desk, said security would come, and again that never happened. Probably wouldn’t stay there again. But it’s a great location. Just bad luck.

Balcony is shared. We didn’t book the balcony and were given an upgrade. It is impossible to sleep before 1am with this room. Couldn’t leave door open due to shared balcony. Wish we didn’t accept the upgrade.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean. The room was beautiful. Only downside was we booked for a Saturday in the middle of the French Quarter. If we weren't tired, we would have had a really hard time sleeping as it was very noisy. It sounded like the music was in the room on full blast. We wanted to visit the Hard Rock which was very conveniently located next door (attached to the hotel).

Great location adjacent to Bourbon Street. Loud outside, but what do you expect at Bourbon Street. Our room was very nice, very roomy and quiet. Check in, valet, and everyone else were incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay.
