The air conditioners did NOT work.. Also there is a very scary and steep staircase to all rooms - except for a few rooms on the ground floor they do not normally rent out. NO phone in the room...

Our home away from home in New Orleans
The comfort of modern hotels but the nods of historical New Orleans. The Inn at St Peters was perfect! In the heart of the French Quarter, it is close enough to be involve in everything including random parades but far enough to be able to sleep in peace and quiet. The staff is incredibly helpful. The beds are as best we have ever slept on away from home! We had such a wondeful time we encouraged our cousin to come in mid-visit and stay here too. We will absolutely be staying here again. This was our home away from home for our 21st anniversary for 8 days and we are so happy we chose The Inn at St Peters.

The Inn on St. Peter is perfect if you like to stay directly in the French Quarter. It is quiet enough for being only a few blocks away from the partyzone on Bourbon. Perfect for walking and strolling around the Quarter any time and close enough to Jackson Square. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was large with a lot of storage space. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Staying in an historical building really added to our New Orleans expierence.

French quarter charm on a budget
This hotel was the most affordable choice within the heart of the french quarter with both a great rating and a king-sized bed. Overall we enjoyed the stay, nice area, walkable to most places and close to bus and street car on Rampart. AC and fan worked well and quietly. Friendly staff and they were able to store my luggage after checkout, although not in a secure area, just dumped in the lobby, but they were safe upon our return. Main downsides were a very small bathroom in room 13 anyway, hard to maneuver with 2 people. No safe or fridge in room but ice is available in an alley behind the hotel. The iron staircase was a challenge, not sure why it was hard to get up and down, but especially with bags. Pay a worker to move them for you, much better choice. The first night was SO LOUD from street noise, garbage trucks move in every day around 4 or 5 am. Sirens, cars, etc. It got a bit better the other nights, but be aware the doors are not very soundproof and you are right on the street. Bed was adequate, not super hard but not the most comfortable, either. I would consider staying here again if I couldn't find another place that didn't cost double. I wish there had been "do not disturb" signs for the door because I did not really need housekeeping to come in just to replace towels that had only been used once.

Quaint little spot in the quarter.
Location was excellent for walking the French Quarter, just a few blocks off Bourbon. Room was clean and comfortable. Apparently room 7 is where Johnny Thunders of the New York Dolls died, so we made sure to say “hi” and “bye” to him during our comings and goings. It can be a little noisy at night, but you are in the French Quarter, so it was expected. Would stay here again.

The room was beautiful high ceilings very spa ious had separate livingroom from the bedroom it looked like a really nice apartment very close to everything shops and restaurants were at every corner I will definitely visit again

We were disappointed that the hotel advertised a safe in the room but when we arrived were told the safes had just been installed and weren’t in working order yet. Also the internet was patchy at best. Most of the time we didn’t have access to wifi despite advertising internet was available. Other than that, the hotel was as advertised, clean and accessible to all attractions in the French Quarter.
