The valet is not good during big events. The state or 3rd party own the valet and garages. So you have to self park which sucks as a lady by yourself. It’s 10 minutes from the superdome

The location was great. Just steps from Canal and Bourbon Streets. Be prepared for crazy billing... I was charged before arriving. Hotel stay plus incidentals held upon check-in. Then charged at checkout. Gross misuse of available funds. The representative was unable to provide me a rationale for multiple authorizations.

Good times and bad times
The hotel was very well located. The lighting in the room was very little. That was disappointing because it was difficult to see anything near the door side of the room. There was no body wash in the shower. Luckily I brought my own. The breakfast was wonderful. Service was slow the first day but the 2nd was very good. The doorman brought our luggage to the room. He looked in my husband’s wallet and told him he could break a larger bill so he could get a larger tip. I really did not feel comfortable with that.

The property is clean and looks well-kept. However, the room is tiny. The heat and air made a loud noise while it was on. The sink was stopped up. We had to wait 1 hr for service to come. The service came to fix it, but it took him 45 minutes, and the sink still wasn't fixed. The bathroom smelled when we arrived, and the service plumber said the backup from the sink was causing the smell. I requested to be moved to another room, but they could not accommodate me. There were so many other issues that caused harm to our trip. We are very unsatisfied with this property.

I loved how the hotel keeps the main doors to the hotel locked at al times unless you have your room key on you. Upon checking in, you must be buzzed in to enter the door. I was greeted with a friendly face and great personality. Check in process was fast and smooth. I asked for recommendations to places to eat and was first informed about the restaurant in the hotel and then off property restaurants. Following the recommendation, i enjoyed a great plates of famous Louisiana dishes. Overall i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit New Orleans

The property is very close to Canal Street (1 block away) which makes it a prime location. Its on the quiet side of Canal which makes it perfect. The feont desk staff, concierge/door person and the wait staff were so friendly and helpful.
