I loved the big window in my room looking at the garden and the sign in the toilet reminding people to be mindful of the unnecessary waste. Great to be so close to the ocean as well to allow for a morning dip before getting on with the day. I just couldn’t find the towel when I arrived as tucked under the sink so maybe having a towel on display by the shower would be great.

One of the best value hotel stays I've ever had - really nice, comfortable room, pleasant pool and spa to enjoy and the Marbles restaurant is one of the best NZ has to offer. Price was incredible for the quality of hotel.

Facilities and location excellent. As older couple we would have appreciated a comfortable chair in our room rather than light plastic ones. We also struggled a little with access to the pool and spa. Staff were friendly and the Marbles smorgasbord excellent.

Not too bad.
Not a bad place, staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are a bit dated. Beds need an upgrade and the sound proofing is non-existent. We were obviously not too far from the laundry which rattled our room with spinning and laundry noises and housekeeping start early knocking on doors! Not ours but could hear them up and down the hallway.
