This two story waterfront canal home with direct Gulf access is situated in an upscale community, 2 miles from closest beach. We offer a brand new 2024 Electric 6 seat golf cart with Bluetooth stereo as an add-on ($250 flat fee per stay), and the community is golf cart friendly on the area roadways (golf cart is street legal) --take it to Green Key Beach, Publix, the Community Clubhouse or out in the evening to a local restaurant! The home faces West for excellent sunset views. Brand new, totally renovated kitchen and new massive private dock in the back yard--the canal is perfect for fishing or watching dolphins swim by. Also offers fantastic opportunities for kayaking through the Wildlife Preserve. Pontoon boat rental, sailboat, kayak, john boat or deep sea fishing charters are a few blocks from this home (Windsong Charters and Rentals)-consider renting a pontoon boat to spend your day out at Anclote Key--a 30 minute boat ride from our dock. Our canal leads you directly to the Gulf of Mexico. Private pool can be heated upon request ($30/day).

Choice of nearby beaches offers covered pavilions, BBQ grills, restroom facilities and showers. You will also have access to the clubhouse, tennis courts and the clubhouse's heated pool, jetted spa, sauna, picnic area and gas grill. Private boat ramp access is just steps from the house, and included.

This vacation home is centrally located and situated about 35 minutes from Clearwater Beach and Tampa International Airport. The historical Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks are minutes away on the Anclote River, where you can take a sponge diver boat tour, dolphin tour, sample the best of Greek cuisine and night life with lots of shopping.

Clearwater & St.Pete beaches are south about 35 minutes and have everything from parasailing to speed boat tours and Pirate ships. Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach hosts nightly evening festivals and shops, lots of live bands, and restaurants w/fresh seafood. Visit the new Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg.

Weeki Wachee is about 45 minutes north, featuring our Florida Manatees. You can rent a boat from the marina, canoe the crystal clear river and Kayak down river.

Homosassa Springs is 45 minutes north: Manatees, exotic bird shows, otters, alligators and more.

Ybor City is found in Tampa and has many great shops, bands and is the oldest cigar capitol of America. While you're in Tampa you can also visit downtown Channelside & Harbor Island featuring many restaurants and shops. Also the Florida Aquarium, one of the top aquariums in the world, Lowery Park Zoo, Museum of Science and Industry and Hard Rock Casino next to the Amphitheater.

The owner Stacey was superb before and during our stay.Booking easy, check in easy.We were a large family visiting and the home was superb. The only bad thing about our stay was that it was during Hurricane Milton! Other than that, the house is beautiful, Stacey and Alex are great (We got to meet them as they were preparing the house for the hurricane). Pool is great. Dock is cool. House is perfect. We'll be back!

A great family getaway location
We had 8 family members together at this canal property and it worked out perfect! Loved the game room downstairs. Beds were comfortable, balconies aplenty, pool was refreshing and fishing off the dock was a plus. Saw a manatee there too! This place is located within a short distance from Tampa, St Pete and the quaint little town of Tarpon Springs…a must see place! Look forward to booking this place again.

Everything you need at your fingertips
2 families (4 adults,4 older teenagers) stayed in the property in Mid Aug 2024. It is clear that this is a private residence that is also rented out when not in use. Towels, plates, chairs, beach toys, pool toys, nearly everything was mismatched and accumulated over time through guests. But that was part of the charm. The property had a very home feeling to it. We felt at home and not in a sterile rental. However, some of those things need to be thrown away. Age and overuse was begining to show. Dont get me wrong. Everything was very clean, and as my friend said it was very "florida clean". 1mi from the ocean you should expect just a general weathering. Location: It is located in a residential, quite quiet neighborhood. Very safe. A beautiful golf cart is available, but other than the corner Publix and a roam around the gorgeous houses, there isnt much to go to. Near the casino is a collection of dockside restaurants. Whiskey Joe's was awesome. Its 45mins from Tampa, 45 from Clearwater, 45 from St Pete's. 20mis from Tarpoon Springs. This is why we chose this property and it was very easy to get to and from places. Communication with the owner was A+. Via text, Stacey responded within minutes. Would definitely stay there again. The price was great, though a couple new showerheads, some window caulk, and clean out of the cabinets is probably in order to meet the standards of professional full time rental companies, it felt like home, it was safe, and clean.

Another great week!
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Sea Colony. We love bringing our boat and enjoying all that the area has to offer by water! We also enjoyed the pool, pool table and games more this trip than last time. It’s a fantastic house!

Wonder Generational Vacation
Wonderful welcoming home with attentive hosts. My contact during our stay was Stacey. She was incredibly attentive to our needs. We have a few issues and she was on it with in minutes! I felt spoiled😊. The layout was perfect for our multi-generational family. Three young adults stayed on the lower level, including pool table, ping pong, swimming pool, and more games than they had time to play. On the main floor, four 50+ and one 80+ comfortably stayed. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the covered back portch,off the kitchen looking over the pool and canal. Perfect for a family stay. Can’t recommend enough!

The property was clean and well appointed. We found everything that we needed. The two different sleeping levels worked out great for two different families. The big couches acted as magnets for when sports or movies were playing. One half of the dining room table was almost always in coloring, puzzle or game mode.

Fun Family Home
The house was in a terrific neighborhood and had everything necessary for a fun stay: It is in a great location but also so much to do if you choose just to stay in. We enjoyed the ping pong table, biking, did a lot of cooking and spent much of our time at the home: The two stories and 5 bedrooms meant everyone had their own space while also enjoying family time. A great house that I would highly recommend for families or several couples traveling together!

Stairway to vacation!
Family group 5 adults and 4 kids for an end of summer vacation. Wanted a vacation home that we all could be together yet having enough room to spread out. Property had a nice pool area screened in that checked the vacation box for the grandsons. Home location was a 45 minute drive to Clearwater and Indian Rock Beach our favorite beach locations. Nice quiet upscale neighborhood in New Port Richie close to restaurants and old Port Richie. Home has a game room with a pool table & ping pong table Property offers loaner beach chairs and umbrellas which will save you $50 per day from renting on the beach! Home has Lots of stairs, so you will get your exercise too! We rented the golf cart as part of the package but did not use it much for the extra cost but was great having another option to get to the clubhouse to swim in the large private community pool. Property is a rental with normal flaws, far from new but comfortable great for our vacation home needs. Home is on a canal with dock and a couple of kayaks that we used. Weather was hot during our stay home AC systems worked great!!!! Driveway is tight! No street parking! Lots of TV’s One in each bedroom and larger TV’s in the 2 living rooms. Local beaches are not as swim-able as hoped recommend Honeymoon Island about 30 minutes or Clearwater beaches about 45 minutes away. Recommend Walmart for shopping as the closest grocery store is way more expensive! We chartered a great boat from website Boatsetter

Family Vacation
We looked at a lot of houses before choosing this one and we made the right choice! We needed room for 7 adults and 2 children to sleep comfortably which the house provided. We knew we wanted a pool. The canal provided a scenic view which we did see a dolphin one morning and did some fishing in. Of course it is Florida so you have afternoon rains and we took advantage of everything else the house has to offer. We used the pool table, the ping pong table, the corn hole boards. The kids loved the pool toys. The kitchen had just about everything you need to cook whatever your heart desires. I would definitely recommend this house for your stay.

Great escape for friends and family
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and they had a wide variety of activity items for our teens. We enjoyed the pool, golf cart usage and most of all the boat lift. We brought our own boat so this was very convenient. There were some issues with check in because of the boat trailer and boat lift set up. Other then this, we enjoyed everything.
