Lovely old fashioned Inn complete with beamed ceilings and wonkey floors. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Kettle and tea/coffee making facility (only enough milk for 2 cups). Lots on offer for breakfast which wsd lovely

Comfortable hotel for a short stay.

Pros: Location for our family party.
Cons: The window as described earlier.
Location: Handy for visiting the coast.
Beds comfortable and the room was very clean.Our only concern was that we would not have been able to open the window as it was in need of repair and badly needing replacing as the glass was cracked.

Hotel a short journey from Littleston on Sea

Good beer, nice wine selection and decent atmosphere in the bar-dining area. The staff were pleasant and helpful. When asked the breakfast serving time, I was told that it was 07:30 - 08:00, why so early and short?, I was told that the workmen had to leave at 08:00. As an OAP I didn't relish such an early start for a small window of time and the reasoning seemed illogical at the height of summer and tourists and it transpired that no workmen came to breakfast ! Room 2 was opposite the stairs so prone to noise of people passing from both sides. Also the Yale lock was fitted so tha the door rattled constantly from a breeze through to passing people and vibration. The room was ok but a tight squeeze to the bathroom. The bed was comfy though

Fantastic location right on the high street

We stayed in this hotel as we were going to a concert in hastings, the food was lovely staff very friendly and welcoming would highly recommend
