My type of hotel. Clean and charming. Friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be back the next time I need a place midtown. I used the valet parking garage right around the block. It's not associated with the hotel. It was a well managed garage with professional and friendly staff which I'd trust my car with again.

The front desk staff were awesome, friendly and attentive to our requests - we were checked in early when the rooms were available before check in time. This facility also has late check out time, which allowed us to do some last minute shopping. Very convenient location and accessible to most attractions.

Good hotel room for a couple of nights in NYC. This is an old hotel with older furniture and carpet, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Convenient location, close to Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral and walking distance to Broadway. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, with a partial view of the Cathedral. This hotel has a restaurant and solarium, the latter which was used for filming during my stay so I can only imagine the expectacular views.

Great location and comfortable rooms.
Wonderful hotel, perfect location clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Historic building and the hotel also has that feel. Period furniture, wood paneling in the pub and many cool public spaces. We will stay here every time we visit NYC.

Do not stay here in the winter.
The entire building is on one heating unit. No individual heat control in your room. They decide when it’s cold enough to turn the heat on and believe me, I was FREEZING!!! I paid almost $500 for one night, heat my room!!!!! And the sound of the wind blowing outside our window was crazy!
