The Staff was INCREDIBLE. RATES: As someone who was living in NYC just recently and was back for a work trip, I appreciated the room rate for the days I was in. (Still hurt the wallet but was not broken) OVERALL: The check in and check out process was a breeze. The communication from the property through the WhatsApp channel was awesome. I would come here again because of this because of how great the front desk staff was through the duration of my stay. CONS: My only note was the room I checked into was not completely cleaned out; found some unwanted items on the ground... And trash wasn't taken out from previous stay. Also, the room scent was still strong with cleaning products, which lingered for the entire stay. PROS: Overall, would stay here again simply because the staff was so thoughtful (One even went next door to get me a plastic container so I could eat my salad properly and not from the bag as I was planning on doing.) STAFF = AMAZING. Thank you!

What a nice little refuge! For a hotel in this price range in this location, Citadine’s punches way above its weight. Clean, quiet, the rooms bigger than expected…. Really nice! 10 of 10 would stay here again.

Most of the reception staff was unpleasant and unhelpful. Additionally, the front desk staff smokes weed at the desk and fills the lobby with smoke, disgusting to have to walk through. This property has a few rooms in the basement, which, in my opinion should NOT be given to customers who made reservations for 5 nights almost a year in advance. The elevator is slow and we used the stairs. The breakfast was just croissants and bananas. The only saving grace for this hotel is that it’s within walking distance from everything. It IS NOT worth the price

Staff is great!
Great in most ways. Only a comment on the elevator at the 4th floor: there was a note saying we had to use the stairs to go down to the lobby, so we did. However, next time we went down to the lobby, the note was still there, but we were able to use the elevator. The note was misleading and a nuisance as I had a sore foot and using the stairs made it even worse. I also have a comment on the breakfast. It is far too frugal, with croissants as the only choice for all of us to eat. For the price we paid for the room, we expected a much better breakfast. The staff was very nice and professional, and the bed was amazingly comfortable!

For the business of their lobby area, their front desk staff is top tier. Friendly, patient, outgoing, and the lobby area stayed clean constantly- very difficult in small spaces with lots of tourists who culturally like to hang out in lobby’s and linger. No one felt rushed or cramped. Great vibe. Great area. Book here.

my room was nh the basement and noise from the clean up trash collection kept me up all night. elevator broke down and found there was not a stayway upstairs, pretty certain a violation of law. continental breakfast was poor, "coffee" was like river mud. been staying in new york hotels for over 40 years and by far the worst.

The room is small as are most hotels in Manhattan. What was awful is the elevator kept breaking down. One time it broke down while we were in it.

Staff was very helpful. The lobby was always full with tourist groups. Room was very spacious and very comfortable bed. There was a wait for the elevator at times but not too bad.
