Wonderful staff from the hotel. Great positive attitude from all of them including the doormen, receptionist, maids. Those are the leaders of this unique hotel. Well done and I will be back in the future

It was nice and all but for the price I expected more. I stayed at a cheaper hotel and had turn down service and they’d bring chocolate to us every night. They would bring us ice and the hotel room was just as nice.

The room was large and comfortable, with two full beds and a built-in bed under the window. It was clean and quiet. But it was also a little "tired" - the bathroom door veneer was chipped and the upholstery on the sofa/bed was worn through.

Although the decor was a bit tired and there was not much natural light in the room that I had- it was pretty comfortable and decent by New York Standards. In addition although being 5 min from Times Square it was far away enough to be away from the craziness and noise. The best part though were the staff who were brilliant and lovely.

Disgusting. The water was leaking and dripping onto the bed next to mine, covered in white goo. Wallpaper peeling. Uneven floor with strange depressions. Claim "4 star" and 4 star prices, but youth hostel cleanliness
