The staff was really kind and hospitable. The penthouse suite was amazing views were unmatched. But being on the 27th floor, 1 of the elevators was down all of our trip. This led to extensive waiting times, claustophobic encounters and there was also a point in time where both elevators stopped and we had to use the stairs for 27 floors!!! Breakfast is basic no variety

The staff was very nice, location was great, beds very comfy. We had some issues with our shower/tub water working. The biggest issue was there is only one working elevator for 27 floors. It was a fight to get in the elevator and get to your floor and a long wait to get an elevator for you to get back down. They’re cleaning crew also uses the same elevator so you were also fighting with them to get the elevator. It was very frustrating and sad because the hotel is decent other than that.

The hotel was filthy! Did not look like the photos, I feel like it was a bait and switch. Biggest issue one of the two elevators was down our entire stay. LONG waits for the elevator, plus it was shared with the service staff for their maid carts, trash, equipment, etc. We learned that the elevator had been down all week. Ridiculous! Guest walking 25 flights of stairs with luggage. Unbelievable, we ended our stay early. We should get a discount or money back. Hotel needs a deep clean!

All I can say is thank goodness we were only on the 5th Floor because we had to take the stairs ALOT due to only one working elevator that is used for guests and staff. The front desk and workers were great but the elevator situation was beyond frustrating.

The hotel rooms are small, but typical of New York City. The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel has only 2 elevators and it's a 27 floor building. The two elevators are used by the staff as well as guests. During our stay, one elevator was out the entire time. The other elevator was often overloaded and had long waits or was also out of order. We ended up walking up and down 18 stories several times. If you are not able to do LOTS of stairs, do not stay at this hotel.
