Manager knew we showed up to check in early 12pm ish and room wasn’t ready. We came back at 2 and still not ready. Then 3pm which is check in time and STILL NOT READY. WHY didnt you get pushing when you saw we were already here by 12pm?? It’s ridiculous we had to pay the full night and didn’t check in til after 3pm

Beware if you're a business traveler looking for a place to stay in a convenient location. This hotel closes its lobby between Midnight and 6 am each night, leaving guests stranded if they need to work or mingle with others. This policy is unheard of in my extensive hotel experience and feels more restrictive than a college dorm. When I raised my concerns with a staff member on duty on 12/23/2024, the response was dismissive. If you value flexibility and late-night activities, consider this before booking. I won't be returning, and I suggest you think twice too. - Dennis, Los Angeles, CA. Addendum: The hotel's response that guests have access to the lobby is both misleading and incorrect. I was a guest...with a key! That still didn't stop him from demanding that I leave the lobby where I had already been for an hour quietly working on my computer. He's was very clear that the lobby was closed from Midnight-6am, so what's the point in having a key or being a guest?

Great hotel in Times Square
Great hotel with views of the Times Square crystal ball dropping and changing colors from the actual room windows! The room was clean, well kept and the staff were great, handled check in with grace and excellent customer service. Easy walk to Times Square within minutes.

The staff were nice. But we were overcharged 700 dollars and we still haven’t been reimbursed. It takes several days which I get, but that really sucks on vacation. There was also a panel of wall open with wires everywhere and we had small toddlers with us and we had to block off part of the room for safety.

Good clean hotel with king bed.
On a busy two way street a little too close to Times Square. 42nd is one of the busiest streets. Very convenient location for Broadway and Times Square.

Booked this trip a while back and thought it was overpriced for what it was, didn’t realise the UN leaders were all in the City which meant price surges Our arrival at reception was greeted with friendly and informative check in . The rooms like all in New York are quite small, however the facilities were decent, tea / coffee making available as well as a fridge and microwave. Shower was very good . Only 2 lifts were working throughout the trip which meant longer wait times. I booked a city view for expecting to see some of it what I got wasn’t what I thought.

The location but the hotel itself was very dirty. We were checked in to a hotel that was just slept on and the sheets had hairs and it was very dirty with mens discharge if you understand what I mean. The staff was nice enough to cancel our reservation since they were sold out. But they seen on pictures what I was talking about. Not at Hilton standards.
