2nd stay and was disappointed in some aspects : no light in bathroom upon arrival ; no soap dispenser in shower, no armchair in room. While the 2 first items were promptly rectified because housekeeping was in hallway, never got the armchair. More troublesome : we had family in another room (1104) and coming back Thursday found door left open. Housekeeping was nowhere to be found ( they had cleaned the room when they were not supposed to) we promptly told downstairs, said sorry and would notify manager. That’s a little short for excuses !! It was very unnerving to find door open!!! Staff didn’t seem to be concerned. Very disappointed - not coming back, not referring your location neither.

They were gouging people during the Climate Week. At $700 a night it was not value for money and I expected better treatment as a Hilton Honors member. Emails to the front desk would not go through and no one addressed my issue to extend for a day. There are better options in NYC.
