Although the staff worked hard to make our stay okay, the elevators did not work for the majority of our stay, the shower pressure was weak, the bathroom door was difficult to close and the mattress was lumpy. We enjoyed the breakfast and snacks/water available to us. Location is convenient to Port Authority Stn.and Time Square.

This Holiday Inn was pretty good! very central in NYC. Staff around all day and night. Gave us a free upgrade upon arrival which was a bonus! would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend in NYC

They need to be better
The water was out for one of the days and we had to go to another property to use the bathroom. It seemed like they knew this was a planned maintenance. How can you have a hotel and just not have water available for your guests one of the days? How can you charge full price for hotel stay when there are days with no water? We called about our hair dryer not working and they said they would send someone to fix it, after a full day we asked again and they sent someone to our room at midnight to give us a portable one. The elevators are so slow and so busy we used the stairs, but the stairs opens to a busy hallway and you almost hit people when you open the door. Toward the end of our stay, the latch on the door was broken and when we came down the stairs, we couldn't open the door. This is a serious safety concern! I will not stay here again.

Conveniently located and walkable to port authority and Times Square but a pretty bare bones hotel. Issues with the elevators daily and there are only 2. Going down 18 floors of stairs is not the way anyone wants to start their day. The breakfast that is included is impossible to attend in the mornings. Extremely small area that people squeeze into. Staff was very friendly and helpful in every way possible with any concerns. Our trip was not ruined by any of these things we still had a great time in NYC just remember you get what you pay for.

It was worst stay ever. Lifted were not working some days and no water in the evening. 1st room we were checked in was dirty . 2nd room was allocated and when we went on 17 th floor to check in to the 2nd room. The door was jammed & they called engineer to fix it which took half an hr & we were stranded in the corridor with our luggage. Would never recommend this hotel to an enemy. Total nightmare
