It’s a good economic New York hotel. It was clean enough and in good enough condition. Were there marks and dings on the furniture, sure but it was also under $350 in NYC.
Easy check in process . Room better than expected , except walls just need cleaning don’t look like it’s been scrubbed down , you can always hear your neighbors if they are doing the do so there’s that . Overall it’s convenient for a last min trip/room . Located right in Korea town so many food options to walk to .

We liked this hotel, but the heater/air conditioner in the room was stuck on "heat" only. We tried to cool it off with the air conditioner, but it just made the room hotter and hotter - too hot to sleep. We called the front desk but they said they couldn't do anything about it. We did just open the windows, but it took awhile to cool the room down.
Don’t think I would book again. The room is tired looking, and they charge you if you drink a water bottle.
Later in the night, two people were arguing in the hallway, and no one at the front desk asks how the stay was.
I do not like being ripped off for a stay that I never made. I paid the extra fee to get a refund if I could not make it, but even after asking NICELY, the 300- plus has not been reversed in my account.I have the medical documentation confirming my four broken ribs and concussion.I would really appreciate your returning my money,or don't you feel that is a good enough reason?TYIA, PAT McQueeney

The hotel is fine, but for $850 per night, there should be secure luggage storage for guests who arrive early or leave after check out. I don’t need a safe, but I do think that luggage should be stored in the back room away from the public. We were told that all luggage is left in the front window, and r although nothing ever happens to it, they couldn’t make any promises that there would be someone at the front desk to monitor our bags. 😬

Scam! Scam! Scam! False advertised, fake pics, dirty, rude staff.
Don’t waste your money unless you’re looking for sub par road side logging.

Staff are friendly and responsive to our requests. Staff sent 2 more complimentary bottles of water so four of us each have one bottle. Obe if our suit cases broke and staff provided us 2 large garbage bags per my request. The heater is a bit noisy though. It’s one block from Korean town and we could get foods even on late Christmas Eve!
This was a horrible experience from the start. There was poor communication with the staff, unsafe handling of our luggage, and a difficult check in process. The first employee we encountered seemed very inconvenienced by our presence and was holding/carrying a dirty toilet plunger. Once we arrived in the lobby, it was obvious that the photos on the site were a misrepresentation of the property. It was dated, messy and cramped. Things got even worse once we arrived in the actual room. The walls were dirty, scuffed and mismatched paint. The door to the “balcony” was taped shut with packing tape and the “sleeper sofa” was not one at all. It appeared to be a small chair that once unfolded would have been on the actual floor! The view from the balcony was basically that of garbage and old dilapidated furniture on the floor extending below. The bathroom was dirty as well. I basically felt like we had checked into a prison cell. I was traveling with a young child, and felt unsafe so we contacted Expedia immediately. We found alternate accommodations. I would never consider returning to this location and would discourage anyone else from booking here. I’m so grateful we were able to find another last minute reservation and salvaged our holiday trip.
The elevator was broken on two different occasions and I had to walk up 14 flights. I am 79 years old. After being told that a microwave will be provided for me to heat my food up coming in late in the evening upon arriving I was told that that was not possible. causing me to throw out the food that I had and having to go out late at night to get something to eat. The heat was inoperable when I arrived and had to call the operator to get a maintenance person to come up to fix it the front desk staff did not know the rules and regulations of the hotel and seem to be very disorganized.
