Great room and value!

Not sure why this place got so many negative reviews. I stayed here for business and the staff were great, room was an excellent size compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the area and it was a good value. A 5 minute walk to Javits Center and close to many other things.

We had a wonderful stay here. It is a great location for those going to Broadway shows and also want to get around to other parts of the city. We would definitely stay again!

PROS: The location was great for a convention I was attending at Javits Center. The employees at the front desk/bellman were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. For a Manhattan hotel room, it was a decent size compared to others Ive stayed in. CONS: The room had a LOUD portable AC unit in it that was attached by tubing to the window. There was no closet. The plastic makeshift clothes hanger that looked like it was not even IKEA quality had nothing to actually hang the clothes with until I asked the front desk the next day. No phone in the room (not a huge deal but it was just odd). TV remotes did not work until my 2nd day after I told the front desk. TV also did not have cable stations, it was all ROKU streaming and the services didnt work unless you wanted to enter your own information, or someone had used it prior and forgot to sign out. Towels were not changed daily. Property was as average as they come. Had it not been for the great people at the desk and front, probably would rate it lower. However, it also was the only property in the city at that time that was not an insane amount for a 3-night stay.

Wouldn’t let us check in one minute before 4pm and no late check out. Asked for iron and table twice, never happened. Loud and crowded party on our floor without letting us know. The only good things are the location and Fouad that was awesome

Thank goodness only there one night

Fridge was broken. Water damage to ceiling. Shower was cold. No ice machines so without fridge warm beverages. No blanket on one of the beds just another sheet and beds uncomfortable. Nice outdoor area. Friendly staff. Great location. Wouldnt stay here again but luckily only one night there. Cheap for new york and understand why

It was ok

Motel was a good stay, However didn’t have a blanket for our bed. Asked for a couple days in a row hoping to get one and was only ever provided extra sheets to use. No drinking cups in the room to rinse your mouth out after brushing your teeth. Over all and interesting motel.

Some kind of coffee in the lobby area would have been appreciated, even if we had to pay for it! No one to call a cab for us when we left so we had to Uber (which was OK, but we had been told a Bellperson would help us get taxis). For what we paid for this hotel, it was disappointing overall.

Solo Business Trip

I was here for business so it was cool. But the hallways was dark & the room wasnt as clean. The rooms has windows on it that leads to the hallway which was weird. I was solo so that kind of scared me a little. The beds did have any comforter on it. The walls are so thin I could hear everything going on in the hallway. Great area to stay I walked everywhere

The positive parts about his hotel is the shared outdoor space. The rooms are dirty and falling apart. Black paint does not even cover up the age.There is no coffee on site, in the rooms or in the lobby. There are early check in charges and an insecure place to store your bag either before check in or after check out.
