No hair blower & heater not working in our room. But we’re lucky it’s a nice & warm weather for month of November so we still enjoyed it. I like the most the staff are very nice.

Great Location!
The location is GREAT! The staff were friendly, they are all really new and did a good job trying to help. What I think happened a company is trying to rebrand using the Hudson Yard name. When I booked this was not what I was expecting. Again it was not awful! Just lower your expectations, it was worth the stay for the location. No hair dry, no place to hang cloths, our HVAC was not working. Our friends HVAC was not working however they had a floor unit set up in their room. Again not an awful place and once they remodel the price will go way up!

The hotel is on 42nd Street which is very close to Time Square and the transportation hubs. The hotel itself was simple and in a minimalist style. The staff was nice enough to upgrade the room from Queen size to King size room. Thank you!

The sitting area in the courtyard was beautiful. Wasn’t warned about a deposit when booking and upon arrival it appeared they were renovating two of the big rooms near the lobby, which didn’t make the atmosphere clean or welcoming at all.

The place is either not finished or falling apart. It was a warm day and our rooms AC was broken. It was 80 degrees in the room! The 1 girl on staff was so nice and she eventually found us a new room. The new room had AC, but neither room was very clean, there was dust everywhere. The bed and night stands were falling apart. We were here for a convention and thankfully spent very little time in the room. It was close to the Javits center which was the only saving grace.

The rooms looked nothing like the pictures. The room had no standard amenities - not even an iron and ironing board. The room had a portable AC unit that leaked all over the floor. Even the signage indicating location of each room was incorrect and it took 15 minutes to find the proper location of the room.

Worst hotel
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I grew up staying in motels for vacations. The day we checked in, we left to walk the city and when we came back our door was opened. We assumed we left it open and went on about our day. When we woke up the next morning, we went to get water from downstairs and realized our door was open again, the night before I locked the door and put the latch on and the latched was pushed up as if someone opened it from the outside. We notified the front desk and was scared someone was targeting us being we were two women traveling alone. Our door was left open a total of FIVE TIMES with none of our stuff being moved, touched or stolen. Finally, a security guard told us they watched the cameras back and it was housekeeping. We were even more frustrated that housekeeping was opening our door and not servicing us, we had not received no new towels, trash was over flowing and had to get our own rolls of tissue from the front desk. When we finally talked to a manager, who was never there at any point we ran to complain about this issue, he tried to assume we were the ones that left our door open and that since no one had serviced our room there was no proof that their housekeeping were the ones that left our door open five times. Other then this situation, the hotel is also being renovated which was not disclosed before and the name they have on here IS NOT THE NAME ON THE BUILDING. They also don’t have dressers or closets.
