The first night we were there the heat stopped working. A gentleman came to fix it. He drained three buckets of brown water from the heater and it started working again. It was gross and made me wonder what the filthy water was putting into the air. The next started off okay, but the room quickly got colder, and there was no hot water. The staff at the front desk explained that the boiler was out, so there was no heat, but that it was being worked on and would hopefully be fixed soon. Hours later the boiler was not fixed, and the lies started. I was first told that the boiler would be fixed in two hours. When that didn't happen I inquired as to what the back up plan would be. I was told that the staff would bring a space heater up, and there was nothing they could do about the water situation.
Two hours later there was no heater. The gentleman at the front desk stated that the hotel had run out of heaters and had sent someone to Target to purchase some more. He stated that he would send up two space heaters to make up for it. I returned to the hotel later that evening and asked the front desk staff if heaters had been purchased and delivered to my room. He was confused as there was never a plan to purchase more heaters and he didn't know what I was talking about. Again, I asked what the backup plan was, since my room was 57 degrees. The best he could do was give me a blanket. They stated management would be there the next day to talk about compensation. They weren't
