Didn’t like the courtyard room. The blinds did not provide any privacy. And hall way light shone in our room all night. Proper blackout blinds or curtains are needed. Property was tired.not sure why a $300 damage deposit was needed. It was refunded when I asked at checkout. Thank goodness I read the reviews before about location. To use the address as there was no visible street signage that said Hudson Yards Hotel. GREAT deli diner across the street with friendly staff and food.

We were told they ran out of hot water and our stay would be refunded since we had to go to a different hotel. It’s been about 48 hours and no refund has been submitted. The hotel doesn’t answer their phone and not very friendly either.

Did not stay because of a no hot water issue! Trying to contact hotel, no answer from the front desk! Expedia tried also but nobody is answering the phone! This property has been going through different owners and have had many problems! Do not recommend this hotel for your stay in NYC!

Nice friendly staff, safe neighbourhood in a great location for exploring NYC. Spacious room for NY standards and a comfy bed! However, renovations mean the entrance is quite ugly and sparse, and worst of all we had no hot water for the whole two nights we were there! They gave us a breakfast voucher for a diner over the road and a small refund and were very helpful/apologetic, but next time I’d simply pay more and have a hotel that has the basic amenities!

This is a good spot if you just need a one night stay. It’s relatively close to everything, however the amenities are not great. We were unable to shower for 3 days because there was no hot water. This is a really unfortunate & frustrating thing to be paying for a hotel during peak Christmas season when it’s 25 degrees out and have zero hot water. Additionally, I felt unsafe when returning to my hotel room and noticing that the door was propped open from housekeeping going in. They also left the tv moved and had searched different things to watch on the tv.

No hot water but we wasnt told when checking in. Waited till 11pm but still not fixed. They agreed to cancel the booking and refund. But it’s already been 3days and I haven’t heard back from them yet. Tried to call but no one answered. Such poor experience!

The heat was broken in the room and the water heater was broken so we could not shower. This place is still under renovation and should not be letting guests stay yet. Management did not know what they were doing and did not help.
