The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom had everything one would need. Unfortunately, the windows are old and drafty. During a cold snap we needed to crank up the heat and an extra blanket to stay warm during the night. Furthermore, could we hear all night construction noise. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast with plenty of options.

The hotel is fine but somewhat "tired" although they do keep it up fairly well. It's just an older building with 28 floors and two elevators. All in all, it was a good experience. Lots of people smoking marijuana in the general area but it doesn't affect the hotel itself.

Great room for 4 people, including a pull out couch, (we have 2 teenagers. I paid extra for a high floor, city view, but high floor was 11 out of 26 floors, view of the building next to us...Asked the front desk about ut and they weren't super concerned...so that was misleading, and also a first world problem. Otherwise, great location, nice to have breakfast included each day of our stay, clean, and roomy (for NYC).

Property is in a convenient location. Overall the hotel was fine, not the most updated or cleanest. Not all the front staff were friendly. Tried to check in an hour early and was told I had to pay an additional fee while the gentleman at the front desk helped friends of mine right away and did not try to charge them anything additional. If a room is not ready, that is completely fine, I understand check in times and know we were early, but she was a bit rude when I pointed out another party wasn’t charged. She didn’t tell me anything about the property like she did with others checking in and had poor customer service.

Perfect location in Midtown, just a few minutes walk from Herald Square and the nearest subway station. The hotel itself was lovely. Generously sized rooms with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was included in the stay with is a nice touch. Plenty on offer for breakfast, although the amount of seating available could do with being more at certain times. A minor point in an otherwise fantastic stay. All the staff were really friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. This was our first stay at Hyatt Place and we will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to NYC!

Disappointed we were not able to do an early check in, the bar wasnt very good, and we woke up to a cleaning cart outside our room each day, Overall our stay was good. The bed and pillows were great. Although the room was kind of small it worked for just the two of us.
