I did not like the dining options we came in after 9:00 pm and I chose this hotel because it had dining options. The hotel side was very nice just what I expect from a Hyatt. The casino side not nice at all and most of the food court sections were closed and look like they had been renovated since the hotel was built. I would not stay here again. The extra fee to get back to airport was not worth the distance. The staff on the hotel side were friendly and helpful.

I was expecting the same standard of quality that I'm used to with Hyatt, but this hotel was like the low end of the spectrum. Very difficult to find, inconvenient location, no restaurant. I needed to extend my stay and even though I'm a member of Hyatt, I was only given 1 extra hour. Jon at the front desk and the head of housekeeping were really good at customer service and I appreciated that

The building and room is nice and clean but the walls are paper thin. I could hear an Asian couple fighting in the room next door and could hear everyone walking through the halls. I was only there for one night and was checking out first thing in the morning so sleep was important! And to make things worse the hotel alarms went off at 2am! It took about 15min for them to make an announcement and another 30 min to confirm it was a non emergency. My kids were frightened! The noise control needs to be fixed before I would consider returning again!

I checked in to this hotel at 10 pm Tuesday 15 October. At 6.25 am I tried to shower but shower unit was broken and pipe broken not allowing water to be used. I went to front desk to complain and ask for a reduction. The front house manager named Roland was aggressive and totally unhelpful. He said “we have 400 rooms here - how ate we supposed to know the shower wasnt working? I requested a discount as this was not what I had booked . Roland said that as it was. booked thru Expedia he wouldn't/couldn't give any refund. He said why didnt you call from the room to let us know ? I explained that at 6.25 am and rushing to get a flight this was not possible. Roland’s attitude was very unhelpful and unprofessional blaming me for the issue. This was not the usual good Hyatt Regency experience. They put the blame too on Expedia actually - they had put me in a room usually provided to a disabled wheelchair guest. I am not disabled at all - the room was barely furnished w no carpet and the shower was not a standard shower unit. I was shocked and very upset at the treatment from the front house manager Roland. Rude. Unhelpful.

No shuttle to JFK, ooor car service provided by Hyatt for Inwas told was $25. But driver wanted $30 for my using my CC, and he couldn’t process the payment. Not the nicest guy either. Will not return to Hyatt JFK.
