The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help us, even taking photos of me and my son. Good area. Safe. It's a bit of a distance to the subway, but not too far. The room was very nice. It was just a bit small, and the only place to sit was on the bed. There was no trash can in the room except for a teeny tiny one in the bathroom that would only hold a Coca-cola can. Overall, we would definitely stay again! It just needs a couple of small changes.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Easy to walk to Grand Central and get around. Small room, but exactly as pictured, so this didn’t come as a surprise. It was nice and clean with a mini fridge and comfy bed. Shower pressure could have been better, but we’ve certainly had worse. And the rooftop and complementary muffins in the morning were a nice touch! Would have appreciated if there were vegan options for the breakfast as well.

Highly Recommend! Cute and elevated space!
This hotel was such a great find! It’s quaint, cute, and super clean. Rooms are very modern and the little perks of having a rooftop to chill at and pastries and coffee in the lobby in the morning helped make the experience very enjoyable. Staff was also super nice and accommodating. I know a lot of the reviews say that the rooms are tiny but being from around here and also staying at a good share of NYC hotels, that’s the norm for the city due to space and I felt it was in line with most other hotels in the city. The features also felt more elevated, with the nice rainfall shower, digital operated shades, and our room had a mini-fridge in it. We also had a cool view out right from the bed. Would definitely revisit!

Comfortable and affordable in midtown
Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Convenient location and good service. I was a little concerned about it maybe being loud, since it's right on 2nd avenue, but it was no problem and at least as quiet as most of the other hotels I've stayed at in New York.

Great stay. My only issue is not having 24/7 reception which is a comfort/safety issue for me. Otherwise everything was great. Also it would help to have a trash can in the room. The tiny one in the bathroom just doesn’t cut it.

Overall Good with a few tech glitches.
Great small room, perfect for a night or two. Service was friendly and the room was clean. The only downside, and I heard another customer make the same complaint, is that the Samsung TV system was very hard to navigate and was confusing. I ended up using my phone to watch what I wanted to see.

We stayed for the weekend and it was a great choice. The hotel’s usage of the space is amazing - it’s compact but offers enough for convenience. Our room was clean and the staff was great too!

We’ll be back!
We stayed for 4 days in August, and loved it. We thought the price was great, and it’s close to subway entrances, Times Square, and theaters. The air conditioned lobby is cozy - a great place to sit and rest if you have some time. We also loved that Remi43 (a beautiful coffee shop/florist) and John’s Coffee were on adjacent blocks. Very convenient in the mornings, and when we just wanted a close place to grab coffee in the afternoon. There is also a Georgian restaurant around the corner where we ate dinner, and the food and ambiance were perfect. Little Charlie’s was a great find - we hope to stay again! *One thing to note: their continental breakfast is very small - mostly pastries!*
