Spent a weekend in NY and the hotel was terrific. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful and any questions were answered with courtesy. Loved the Turtle Bay area, as it is walkable with a neighborhood feel.

Awesome Stay!
Staff were fantastic, rooms were big and the location was great (beautiful views and quiet). Although the closest subway is GCS it’s an easy walk. I’d definitely stay again! I was also a big fan of the 90’s jade and greenery!

I had 1 minor mishap during checking as the room i was given, the guest was still in the room when i went to enter it. Awkward. Very awkward. So i had to go check-in again. I think people forget checkout is 12pm sometimes. They then gave me a room on the 30th floor. Let me say if you get queasy or nasueous at tall heights request a lower floor. 30 was the lowest they had; 36th floor was given at first checkin. The room is really spacious and nice. The view was fantastic. My room overlooked the city on 1 side and the other I could see East River. The damage deposit is $75 but they also charge $35 for UBF (Urban Resort Fee). You can use the $35 as credit towards in-room dining or the restaurant. just make sure to inform in-room to apply the credit and ask for a receipt. The hotel is definitely busy. A lot of people coming and going but no one really bothers you. I'd stay again, just a very very lower floor. The high altitude gave me a headache and made me nauseous. I've never been a hotel with that many floors. The area on 1st Avenue North and South is walkable and on 44th Ave East and West is also walkable. Bus routes are near. About a 10min walk to Grand Central/42 Ave. I took the bus and train a lot during my 1.5 day stay. I went to eat at Zurratta for some ramen and kimchi since it was raining. The meal was great. Def recommend trying out restaurants in the are and skipping chain restaurants.

The staff was all amazing. So helpful and friendly!!! Our only negatives were that there was a lot of dust on everything in the closet (hangers, safe, etc). And the gap around the door - light and sound came thru.
