Obviously, the Paramount location with its proximity to Times Square is wonderful! Unfortunately, the hotel was covered in scaffolding and there were workman walking past our 12th floor window frequently. That was unsettling as well as the construction noise right outside our window. The room was adequate. Unfortunately the rate was exorbitant due to Comicon. Bathcloths were available upon request. There was no coffeemaker in room. The biggest inconvenience was the lack of ice buckets in the hotel. It was necessary to go to fourth floor a collect ice in a flimsy plastic bag. Then where do you put it? In the sink? How about brushing your teeth... then where. Totally unsatisfactory. After speaking with hotel manager, Keifer Brazilia, I was MUCH happier. He listened to my concerns and made adjustments to my bill for my inconveniences. He was tremendous! The staff was exceptional! Room certainly not worth $600 per night... but staff eased the pain! ( literally, as the provided instant ice packs for my injured back. ) If Mr is promoted to general manager.... I MIGHT return

Good location, bare minimum for room. I guess that's not bad, but a washcloth would be nice, rather than blunt answer,we don't have. Last day there, large water roach. I would stay there again.

Considering it was just around the corner to all the action in times square, it was nice and quiet, very convenient and close to all the subways. The rooms were small, with no coffee making facilities, but who needs any thing else when you are in New York. The main bar lounge was beautifully quirky. Would Recommend to anyone on a mid range budget.

While it’s still got a hipster vibe, the Paramount lobby isn’t overpoweringly loud, very comfortable for a cocktail and conversation. Rooms are small but quiet, clean and comfortable. Location is amazing if you’re seeing Broadway shows.

Unfortunately this was probably my worst ever hotel experience. On our second and last night at around 1.30am a man checking in was able to enter our room, with a key card that had been programmed by reception. This was alarming and very scary. 10 mins later someone from night staff reception came up to the room and asked "are you from turkish airlines? What is your name so we can ensure room guest is recorded right" Barely any apology for what was a total breach of safety! To make matters worse, upon leaving and returning to the room in the morning, we realised both our key cards had been unprogrammed and we were unable to enter the room. We went to receiption to get our key cards programmed so we could enter our own room. This was entirely unnerving knowing that its possible someone else could have had a key card to enter my room with all my personal belongings. I spoke to the hotel manager in person and it was agreed that the approx $80 facilities and city tax would be refunded. Noting this was a tiny tiny proportion of the overall booking. Furthermore, the manager agreed further compensation would be appropriate and that he was willing to work with hotels.com on this as he was unable to authorise directly since I paid via hotels.com. After 4 weeks of chasing still no result from support in detailing with the hotel manager for this compensation The room was tiny (even as a superior double), the decor was dated and bathroom very damp and humid.
