Hotel was very nice, good conditions. I like the size of the bedroom and to have fridge and microwave. It is very close to the airport ($19 the Uber). Staff was very friendly too and bed was comfortable. Only thing is that the surroundings don’t look safe although we walked at night with 4 suitcases and nothing happened to us. Might be just perception

overall great stay! we only stayed one night and picked this property for its proximity to the JFK air train (walking distance!). we weren’t able to check in early, but the staff allowed us to leave our luggage in their storage while we roamed the city for the day, and were kind and accommodating when we checked in for the evening. the room was small but clean and comfortable, and pretty good given the price. i’d be happy to stay here again if we need a place to stay close to the jamaica station airtrain to JFK!

Location location location
You can get airtrain directly from jfk to Jamaica and then this hotel is about 8-10 mins walk. You can then walk back to Jamaica and get the E subway into Manhatten so location is excellent, especially if you cannot afford the crazy prices on manhatten hotels right now. The area around the hotel is pretty bad, very run down and not particularly nice. The hotel itself was pretty efficient and room was decent- clean and comfortable. Good bed and modern room.

We stayed for 5 days and housekeeping did not clean our room so we had to ask for it when we saw the staff in the hallway. The first time they did not come when we ask but on our last day a different staff came in right away and changed our bed sheets and stocked the bathroom. In that regards service was poor. When we arrived, the building and our room was nice and clean, but the building was too noisy, there were no news channels available on the TV, and again the staff did not come to do housekeeping. The staff was friendly, but no housekeeping service and noisy so that's why I give overall rating a 2 instead of a 3. I made a mistake. I give it a 2 for overall rating.

This hotel was kind of hard to find considering it was my friend and I's first time ever being in New York, when we got there at night you could barely see the sign and we asked if that was the Red Roof hotel and the first thing that was said to us was "Can you read what does the sign say at the top" we ignored it cause we were only there for one night. This hotel is pretty new, when we checked out someone told us it had only been open for a month. I would recommend this hotel if you're like us only staying for a night and leaving, long term not so great there isn't food service I couldn't even find a water fountain to fill up my water bottle. The one thing we did like is when you walk out and turn right and walk for like a minute there's this burger place that has the best burgers I've eaten and its open till like 5am (I think). Also what they don't mention before you book is they charge a $100 deposit that you get back when you check out so make sure you have hotel/deposit money.

Bed hard as a rock ! Tv doesnt work, also don’t expect to park your car. The parkinglot fits about 8 cars… including theirs. Also… youre in the projects! Hood!! Ghetto !!! Highly dirty. Elevator dirty ! They got my room wrong and almost walked into someomes elses! If youre staying for less than 12 hours … book.. other than that … go somewhere else
