Really really disappointing… great location but the hotel is run down, dirty, terrible service…. The windows offer no sound protection from the streets paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom and the final straw was the air con which only operated on full blast and was incredibly noisy. When we asked for it to be fixed the staff couldn’t have cared less… terrible experience. I will never visit of recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was excellent. In particular, Jonathan, the bellman, was very nice and helpful with all aspects of our stay including luggage, valet parking and getting cabs. I don't stay in NYC often but I would return to This hotel if I have to.

The staff was WONDERFUL esp Isabella who helped us a lot. Location is amazing. Close to everything and felt very safe. Room was not super nice —shade was broken and there are about 80$ in taxes per night (wish that was made clear by Expedia) but overall staff made it a very pleasant stay

The property is still under heavy refurbishment, so areas of the hotel weren’t useable. Our room was ok, missing a microwave and bedding when we arrived, but they fixed that.

Over Price for What it Offer - Money Grab
The hotel is over price for what it offer, the front desk is not as helpful but door and bell personnel are very helpful and friendly. Overall, the hotel does not have integrity the website states that valet parking is included when you booked one bedroom suite. When I get there front desk inform me that it does not include valet. Plus over charge you for parking, they charge me $75 per day, if you park somewhere else its only $25 per day, over charge of $50... The Hotel is all in for money, the hotel has no pool, no restaurant, no lounge and charge you $400 per night.

The hotel was great. It was clean and up to date. The staff was courteous and attentive. My only displeasure was the valet parking service. It appears they use an off-site third-party parking vendor. It took 40 minutes for them to retrieve my car on the morning of checkout. This was a problem because we had to catch a flight out of Newark International and it almost made us miss our flight. Very unhappy with the valet service.

Property was being renovated and we were not told or aware of the situation nor were we offered a refund if we left as we had prepaid. A glass fixture fell from the ceiling in our room and scattered glass all over the floor, we asked to change rooms but to no avail and although they claimed to have completed a deep clean we had to put up with glass shards appearing all over the place and risking injuries. Never going near this hotel again.
