I like the convenient location of the hotel. The room we were in was so small that there was not adequate space to walk around the bed without banging your shin at one of the corners. The hotel is nice and very clean, but if the room was slightly larger or the bed or dresser were positioned differently, it would have made a difference.

Great location that is walkable to major attractions. Many dining options in the area. The room was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The street outside made it a bit noisy, though this was expected for being in the city.

I’ve stayed at The Evelyn twice. Room is small-ish, but not unexpected given that it is an older building (my typical preference). Expedia VIP benefit, bottle of wine was a half bottle, room upgrade non-existent. Check in staffer was less than pleasant. Not rude, just no hint of welcome. Her colleague was very nice and helpful. Valet for storing luggage also wonderful. Tried for early check in - no dice. Tried for late checkout, granted one hour and even though I waited for the room key card to get redone, didn’t work when I went upstairs. Breakfast typically runs out of everything if you don’t go right when it opens. We went elsewhere… Overall lovely place, very convenient location

Charming and comfortable with a really kind staff!
Really charming hotel and decor. Great lobby space if you need it. While not a huge room, it was comfortable and I loved my desk looking out the window for work purposes. Also all the staff I interacted with were really nice and helpful, which is what made me want to leave this review.

Great spot situated between the 6 train and the Q/R trains. The room size is pretty normal for Midtown, but the amenities are very comfortable. We had no problems managing two suitcases. The voucher breakfast is perfectly adequate, but make sure to try the local bagels a few times as well. The hotel bar is pricey, but I felt that I got my money’s worth.

Superb location close enough to the action to be v convenient without it feeling overwhelming when you step out the door! Lots of great bars, restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. Small rooms but that's NY!

Beautiful hotel. We were with a big group traveling and found most of our late nights hanging out in the Mezzanine. Cute little secrete spot to hangout and enjoy company!

We had a wonderful stay at the Evelyn. Staff are incredibly welcoming- went above and beyond for a birthday celebration making sure he felt special. Great bar atmosphere, cafe attached and convenient. If you are checking out spots in NoMad, you will not be disappointed at the Evelyn.
