A most disappointing stay with a few issues. To name a few: - arrived early with no expectation that my room would be ready so pleasantly surprised when it was. Then told it would cost me $100 for the early access, something I have never experienced before. This on top of the large room rate and the “resort tax” and the usual hold on my card would have made for an expensive check-in. I declined on principle, but worth calling this out if you are planning to stay here that the usual swings and roundabouts on check-in/out do not seem to apply. - the room was beyond tiny. Even by NYC standards it was tiny. For 1 person for 1 night it’s maybe ok but for 2 of us for 2 nights definitely not. - our room (707) had the bed positioned so that the solid corner of the bed, low down and the same colour as the carpet, stuck out and in my view represented a major health & safety hazard. No idea if it’s the same in other rooms but if not, I suggest to avoid this room. I have bruises where I managed to kick the metal spike many times. - housekeeping showed-up at 4pm just after we had returned for a quick pre-show shower. We were told they finish at 5 so if you can’t be out by then - no service! We were glad to leave this hotel as everything seemed to be a struggle and I didn’t notice any level of customer service. I swapped emails with a management rep who ignored the health and safety issue, appeared surprised about the early check-in fee and subsequently made a token refund.

In the beginning I was a little disappointed by how small the room was. As we explored the city we realized how nice the property was, we realized how great the area was, how convenient transportation was from that area. The food options in the area were nice. The staff was lovely! Very satisfied with our stay at The FIDI Hotel.

It around the financial area. The room was nice but had no fridge. Also room cleaning was always very late in the day, usually when my conference was over and I was back at the hotel 4pm, so one night told them no thanks.

Although the rooms are small, the place was very clean with nice decor. The hotel is nice and quiet. The staff at the reception are very professional and welcoming.

I can't say enough of how GREAT our stay was at FIDI! From the 1st day to the last day, it was amazing. The location allowed for easy trips to uptown or the outer borough. The staff was stellar! Always thoughtful, very positive, appreciative, and caring. They tended to our needs without hesitation and I witnessed the same care to other guests. The accommodations were perfect. I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was lovely when I did. Very clean and the decor was fun, modern, and tasteful. I truly will stay here again and look forward to seeing familiar faces. Customer satisfaction 100% Get the front desk a place to sit, they earned it!!!!

Nice boutique type hotel in the financial district. Rooms your typical New York size though we had a Superior room booked. Staff friendly and lots of metro stations nearby. Prefer the location to midtown which tends to be more busy with tourists.

Overall the hotel was decent. Not intended for long stays, we stayed 9 nights and that was a bit much for the small space. Trash was also a problem, we were instructed to leave it outside of our door however, it took an abnormal amount of time for it to be relocated. They also say you get a free bottle of water everyday but that was not accurate. Read the fine print about charges assessed at the property.
