Great no frills hotel
The location was fantastic. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. The hotel was very clean and everything worked like a charm. Great, no frills Hotel but I think a little expensive for what you get. We booked a suite (king) and it was tiny and barely would qualify as a suite by most standards.

Perfect location. We were right next to Rockefeller Center. Easy access to buses and different subway lines, shopping, and to many excellent dining options. The room was small but comfortable and quiet. Only interacted with one staff person upon check in. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was small, but very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Centrally located, which was the reason we chose it, it exceeded expectations. We are thinking of coming back around Christmas, booking a room with a balcony over looking Rockefeller Center so we can see the tree from above the crowds!

While the staff could not have been more friendly, this hotel was tired and worn. My room on the third floor backed on to a vista of brick wall and AC units which meant the room was in perpetual semi darkness. With fixtures and fittings that had seen better days, The Jewel was unfortunately not a gem. For the cost of the stay, it was way overpriced for what it offered. There are much better options in NYC. Avoid.

Hotel is very well located right across Rockefeller. Walking distance from time square and just steps away from Radio City. Great location. I enjoyed its a small hotel so its quiet. Free tea and coffee is great they also have a nice cozy gym with vending machine and a washer and dryer. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and shops. This a small hotel but with all you need: excellent beds, clean, free water a coffee, laundry room, good internet. Small rooms but with all you need. I will stay here again next time.
