A Gem in the Heart of NYC
Our stay at The Prince Kitano New York was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. They were accommodating, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. The hotel itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the serene touch of having green tea and a water boiler in the room instead of the typical coffee setup. It was such a delightful and calming addition to our mornings. The location on 5th Avenue is ideal, and the peaceful, sophisticated ambiance made it the perfect retreat after exploring the city. Without a doubt, The Prince Kitano will be our go-to whenever we visit NYC. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed it stay here. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and knew the surrounding area. They were all very professional and well kept. The room was a decent size for us. It was clean, and had a mini fridge with drinks and snacks.. for a fee. They serve a breakfast buffet we enjoyed every day. The water pressure was great. You could shower from the mounted shower head or a hand held one. The bathroom had a towel warmer, and a bidet with a heated seat. I'll leave it at that.

All staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. Great location for walking to grand central, Times Square, broadway. Very clean and felt safe. My only minor gripe is they had only 2 USB charging ports in the room, neither of which were located by the beds. They should buy those lamps with built in USB charging capabilities to put on the nightstand. Inexpensive and ez fix.

This was our first trip to New York and we found the Prince Kitano to be a beautiful property. Its proximity to the main attractions was convenient and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The views from the rooftop restaurant were beautiful. The room was nice and clean. The staff was professional and helpful.

Friendly staff, excellent location minutes away from main attractions. Hotel requires an update. We were upgraded to a king suite- it was supposedly upgraded- but it didn’t seem like it was. Bed was only ok. It could have been more comfortable for the price point. Breakfast buffet requires serious attention-poor quality coffee and pastries. Easy check in and check out.

Walkable to Times Square for a reasonable price. Felt very safe. Spacious bathroom for nyc but beds felt small. Car valet available but took over 45 minutes to retrieve the car (busy holiday week).

Big rooms for NYC and we had a great view of the Empire State Building. The rooftop bar also has a great view of it and good drinks. Breakfast was included with our room and was good but buffet not worth $40 if not included.

The Prince Kitano is centralized in the perfect location to visit the attractions of New York, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the cons were no in room amenities such as a microwave or iron, there was no clarity on parking and rates based on vehicle type and the food is very expensive for a group or family traveling together, overall a very nice hotel
