I have been to NYC many, many times. It's my favorite city to visit. So, you can guess how many hotels I've stayed in there. I've recently completed my 2nd stay at The Leo House and can tell you that I will come back again and again and again. It has everything I need. It's in a safe and convenient neighborhood, with easy access to The High Line, the subway, and tons of food options. It is older, and some of the finishes reflect this. BUT - it is clean, it is safe, the staff is friendly. I really enjoyed sitting in the courtyard garden for work a couple of days I was there. It's a lovely, enclosed, private garden where you feel miles away from the hustle. The breakfast is adequate and the coffee is good. For me on this visit, the laundry room access was a huge benefit. It's $1 a load to wash and $1 to dry. The machines are in the basement and they are in very good working order. Overlook the older furniture and fixtures in the room. You don't need those to be fancy. You're in NYC, baby! Sleep, wash, and go outside to explore! Absolutely the BEST value for NYC.

We knew the hotel was if a different era but was pleasantly surprised that the hotel had installed free Wi-Fi, air con and to. We arrived early and was able to store our luggage curtesy of Miss Marilyn and again we left our luggage and checked out and 9am and returned at 14.30, no issues. Room was a little dated but clean and comfortable bed and good shower. Would stay here again

Happy with our stay, some where clean to lay your head, breakfast satisfaction. 30 min walk to time square and Broadway. 10 min walk to highlander and Chelsea Markets. Would definitely stay again

I give a huge shoutout to the staff who made me feel at home. Incredible breakfast!! Better than most American hotels. Office staff,especially Natalie, were wonderful. I had a big issue regarding a bus tour. Natalie helped .e on tbe computer and printed documents for free. My room and shower rooms were very clean. I had beautiful new towels. Room had comfy bed, 1/2 bath, tv. AC. Desk, 2 chairs, large closet.House had several living rooms, larhe foyer with tv, water station. outdoor courtyard. I felt very co.fortable and safe. Excellent location to walk to Highline, Chelsea Market, Little Island. Macys, Empire State BuildingTimes Square, Vessel, Edge are farther, but doable.Rates are

Awesome budget hotel in Chelsea. One block to subway. 10 minute walk to Penn station. Easy subway to downtown. Friendly staff and very clean room. Some rooms have shared bathrooms so double check your room type.

I've stayed here several times over the past 30 yrs. It's a reasonably-priced budget option. The rooms are small but clean. The location is excellent. It's a bit quirky (it's a religious guesthouse), but, that's a large part of its charm. It may not be to everyone's taste, but, it suits me just fine.

Some of the people of the stuff were great, others rude. The hotel Is ok for the price and it has a nice breakfast . But I felt controlled there, like they didnt allow me to have a guest, they Made you leave your key when leave the place, they reject amazon delivers... Things that didnt make me feel "like home" at all.

Great place if you are on a budget
Had a great stay at Leo House. Great location (25min walk from Empire state building). Room was quiet and comfortable and breakfast was great. Subway station is pretty much few steps away.
