GREAT Stay
This was our first time at the hotel and we loved it. The hotel itself is beautiful and is in a terrific location. Our daughter lives nearby and we will definitely be returning to the Lucerne.

Clean hotel that convent to many UWS eateries and activities. Area feels safe and cabs are plenty if you fancy down town 42nd street amenities

Pleasant and hugely convenient upper west side hotel. Loved the connection to Nice Matin restaurant. Room was super quiet mainly being on air shaft. Staff were friendly and helpful. First visit and we will be back.

This is the 4th time I've stayed at the Lucerne and have always enjoyed the property and neighborhood. This time was no exception. From the doorman to the front desk to the housekeeping all are a 10 in my book. Not to mention the restaurant Nice Matin, absolutely fabulous.

Friendly and helpful staff at checkin was much appreciated. The hotel is “older” but had the ambience of a set from the BBC production of “Poirot”. Price was average for mid-town Manhattan so no surprises there. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Great location! 1 block from the subway, a few blocks from Central Park. MANY great dining options. The bagel shop diagonal from The Lucern was great. Class Salvo for cappuccino and a cornetto (just like Italy). Jacob’s Pickles amazing southern breakfast/brunch. Maman for coffee and goodies. The Wolfe for a great happy hour, even 11pm till closing, kitchen closes at 11. So many dining options! The Lucern is an older property with great architecture you can’t go wrong. If I go back I will stay here again.
