Hospitality at the Hampton
Our daughter ran the NYC Marathon last weekend. The Hampton was close to I-95 with highway access to GWB and also Staten Island and the Verrazano and Goethals bridges. There was a Target, Walmart, Wawa and Starbucks nearby. Also many other retail and restaurant options. The hotel reviews have not been so favorable in the past, but I think there has been a great effort to modernize the Hampton. The room was clean, updated and comfortable. The check in was great with friendly staff to help. We stay in NJ often with family in Brooklyn. I would definitely visit the Hampton again in the future.

When I checked in I was given a room right at the back door and it wasn’t quiet. I went to the front desk to be switched, I met Jahid(so?)! He was amazing! From his friendly smile to his professionalism! He was a bright light. He switched my room and was sure to put me in a quiet spot. He should always be the first face you see!

Was great experience. Clean, smelled good. And the cookies. Only con, breakfast not open till 7 am, on weekend days, not good for contractors working early. Good thing WAWA and Starbucks were open across the road.
