From the outside, this hotel looks super nice especially compared to the surrounding area - so I guess that’s what lures someone in. Check in was simple. After that, it just was not a great experience. The elevator, hallways and our room smelled like weed. Although it is noted by the elevators that it’s $250 fee for smoking in the building AND you would be removed from the property… that is absolutely NOT enforced.
The rooms are nice, bed was comfy, and the little couch was a nice touch. There were zero towels in the room. I went down to the front desk and after waiting for 10 minutes and calling the front desk, someone finally arrived and gave me towels as requested. There are zero trash bags in the rooms & you are responsible for taking your trash to the dumpster behind the building. What’s the point in having housekeeping? I’m confused.
Around 9:30-10 that evening, the guests or people that live in the room next to hours were fighting which included yelling, screaming & banging on the wall which was lovely when you’re trying to go to sleep. At one point, I looked out the window to check check on my car (like I said above, not a nice area) and there were 6 police cars with lights going on the hotel property - that was comforting… not.
I will never stay here again nor will I recommend it to anybody. We chose this hotel because the rate wasn’t bad at $187 but I wish I would’ve stayed at the Hilton next to MetLife, but ya live and learn.
