Belmont hotel has a homey feel, relaxed atmosphere, good vibes. The balcony rooms are awesome and come with a king size bed, stayed for a week an it was great😃...now staying a week in the single twin room, has no balcony but still great. I recommend to stay here.

Rooms nice, no avoiding rough bar area to check in
Rooms are nice and good value, staff helpful but you need to go to the bar area to check in, aggressive foul mouthed patrons tolerated even in the family dining area mid afternoon.

A nice one night stay
A nice overnight stay. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Bathroom had nice water pressure and water was nice and hot. Room and bathroom was clean. Room had its own reverse cycle AC and Heater so was warm. Pub downstairs has lots of food options and well priced. Parking was very easy

Yes it’s under construction, but when there’s other rooms available why put people above the beer garden? Also hot water takes extremely long to heat up. Bed was comfortable, room clean. Bed isn’t a king it’s two single beds together.

We have stayed here numerous times with no complaint. Have always enjoyed it. We checked in about 2.30, after a 5 hour drive, planning to have a rest before a family event. The site is currently under major renovations, jack hammers and pounding. No rest, rather a pounding headache. We would still recommend, BUT ... check on the renos first. Wish they would put it up on the booking sites.

Seven missing blind veins meant you could not block out any light. Noise from the pub down stairs is very loud. My room was next the the fire escape (which was the only access to the accommodation) loud squeak noise and slam all night. Then a party in the adjacent room from pub closing time until 0630. The hotel is currently under construction. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or money staying there.

good central location in Belmont, unfortunately the bistro was under renovation when I was there, so I had to eat out which wasn't a problem as there was heaps of choice within easy walking distance
