Pelican Lake Retreat is your charming home away from home, tucked away near tranquil Lake Macquarie and Blacksmiths Beach. Designed with families and couples in mind, this home combines modern comforts with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The open-plan living and kitchen area creates a welcoming environment, perfect for gathering with loved ones. The master bedroom offers a king bed and the second room is a cosy but comfortable space with a Queen bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

The bathroom boasts a large shower and bath, while an extra toilet in the laundry adds convenience for larger groups. Outside, is an inviting alfresco dining area with an outdoor fireplace to warm you during winter nights, creating a cozy ambiance.

Furry friends are more than welcome to join the holiday fun, with an added cost to ensure their comfort (outside only). Front window security screens allow you enjoy the balmy breeze all night long, while keyless front door offers of modern touch of convenience. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and Heat pump dryer, ironing board and iron, catering to all your laundry needs. Enjoy full use of the property and grounds during your stay, though the garage is unfortunately not available for guest use.

Just a short stroll to the Pelican Foreshore, this area highlights the natural beauty of Lake Macquarie. Here, the expansive lake takes centre stage, offering a captivating backdrop for a variety of aquatic activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The crystal-clear waters provide a secure and delightful setting for families to enjoy the simple pleasures of swimming.

• The host will not be held responsible for issues outside of their control, ie poor weather, power blackouts, insects ie mosquitoes or sandflies, spiders etc, internet or appliance failure or activities not directly in control of Lakeshores Accommodation. We will, of course, endeavour to rectify any issue should one arise however we cannot be held liable for such events. We must be given an opportunity to resolve any issues or move you to another of our properties before requesting any refunds.

• NOTE - All of our homes are treated regularly for pest control by qualified technicians but unfortunately living on the Australian coast some of these are expected in the area.
