Nice hotel and staff pleasant. Restaurant isn't great in terms of service. Can lack friemdly face and twice ive had staff walk off from bar to deliver a drink or food without a courteous "Give me 2 mins and i will be right with you" etc. Feels rude. Also lack of attention by staff leaves guests waiting for menus and then once food arrived (steak & chips) they forgot chips !!. Poor attention to detail. No cider as sold out day before & other drinks i heard. Guy sat next to me ordered a pint 10 mins before food arrived and it turned up 45 mins later at which point he'd already finished food and chased staff for said drink so ended up with another. Really need a smile and better communication.

Nice hotel with spacious standard room. Bed is large. Rooms are clean. Facilities are good. Only (minor) point was I wish the shower/bath could be sightly hotter. Friendly staff. Have visited this hotel twice now.

Stayed here 5/6 times in the past. The service levels have dropped here recently with gym members also talking about it when i was there. Called reception and waited over an hour for towels, i was advised on my second call to come and collect it. The rooms are part refubushed some reason the toilet seats dont fit the toilet annoying when travelling with a child.

Surprisingly good.
This was just a quick stop over for one night with my partner and 7 year old. The staff were brilliant and the food in the pizza bar was great. The family room was very spacious and well equipped. We used the leisure facilities and could have used the driving range or had a round of golf. Would definitely stop again.
