Lovely hotel
This was our second stay at the Bedford Lodge. I can highly recommend. The only downside for myself was the mattress, which was incredibly soft.

Terrific stay
We had a terrific stay at the Bedford Lodge Hotel, it's a really beautiful property. The room was spacious and modern, with easy and lot's of parking. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and wasn't disappointed , great food and service. The breakfast was amazing, lot's of choice and lovely ingredients. Would definitely recommend for a special stay.

Bed was far too soft so didn’t have a very good night sleep - felt left in the corner at breakfast had to keep asking to be seen - staff very disorganised and had to wait a long time

The Lodge is lovely but awkwardly located and getting a bit worn down at the edges. The staff are polite but not all that solutions-driven. Lots of little mistakes were made (e.g., calling me by the wrong name, shutting off the key before I checked out, sliding other people’s mail under the door) and the hotel staff was very nonchalant about the incompetence. Similarly, the restaurant, though tasty, has an inflexible staff/chef.
