We had a wonderful one-night stay at Hyatt Place in Hampton while visiting for Disney on Ice. The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy to get to the event. Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly, which made us feel welcome right away. We especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning—it offered a good variety of options, including hot items, which was a nice touch. The location was ideal, with plenty of nearby dining options and shopping. We were able to easily grab a quick meal before heading to the show. Overall, this Hyatt Place offered a great experience for our one-night stay. It was comfortable, convenient, and affordable, making it a great choice for families heading to local events like Disney on Ice.

The gentleman working the check in desk was amazing. Super friendly, very helpful; exactly the kind of person you want as the face of your brand. The room was perfect. Very clean, looked newly renovated? The only complaint and it’s not even worth mentioning really is there was a sort of lack of hygiene items in the bathroom: shower cap, lotion, mouthwash. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I will never stay at this property again, they deducted money out of my account without authorization. My room was already paid for and they charged me again causing my account to go in overdraft. Their wasn't any complimentaries in the room, I had to keep asking for them, they claimed they didn't have any but then they brought them up. I told them twice the toliet paper holder was broke but they never came to fix it. No microwave in room had to keep running downstairs to use microwave, only two teas in the basket for tea, no door for the bathroom, also complimentary wasn't any good, I ate a bagel and drunk some juice. No curtains to the window just shades, the bed was comfortable. The girl Karen at the desk was very impatient and unprofessional and very argumentative towards me, I will never stay here!! There was no store at this hotel which was very sad, no complimentary water and I paid 349.00 for two nights and the charged 252.00 plus on top of that and I didn't receive my money back into my account as of yet, there was only suppose to put incident on my card but they charged me without my permission after I told them I prepaid with my Capitolone card.

With regard to my rating. I will more than likely stay at this location again. I do not want my rating to reflect the staff that attended to our family. They greeted us, were warm, were truly top notch in regard to our stay. My concern is with Management and the ability to follow up with concerns. The night prior to checking out we returned late... no hot water, waited til morning .... no hot water to shower. Due to the late hour and we were leaving at 4am decided just to mention upon check out. The gentleman at the front desk notated our concern and was extremely friendly. We left on a Monday morning, by Wednesday afternoon no mention or call from Management to follow up. When I called back, the gentleman in question advised his manager was not in at the moment but would provide to them our message. I advised that at the least a follow up call would have been professional. It is now Saturday morning, and we have yet to receive any contact, call, email etc... from management at this hotel. Please understand, it is important to us simply to be acknowledged as patrons of this establishment. Everyone is important when they are a client! These things are extremely important...... For me I have been traveling all over the WORLD since I was a young child, and this is not the type of experience anyone should have. A day prior to arriving in Hampton... I traveled with a team to support the hurricane victims in Tampa, Florida and we had hot water!
