Probably because of the Labour Day long weekend, all the finer brand name hotels had surge pricing which I was not used to paying ($550 for a room with king size bed). Location was important as I wanted to be able to walk to Fallsview Casino to attend a show. This motel fit the bill as I got a room for just under $300 for the night. Well this was a case of you get what you pay for. I was deceived by all the great reviews as my wife and I found the room quite dirty and she refused to take a shower as the tub looked filthy. I wore my sandals to take a shower. The toilet looked like it was stained with poop. I checked under the beds and it looked like it wasn’t vacuumed in months. The sink wouldn’t drain properly, with chunks of mystery bits floating back up into the sink. Also I was caught off guard by the additional $20/day parking fee which I don’t recall reading anywhere in the description. I will say the bed sheets were clean and the staff was friendly, but the room interior is in serious need of a renovation. The building exterior looks like it was recently updated but that money should have been used to at least revamp the bathrooms and sink. In the end I would say this motel is fine to stay for one night, but any more than that would give me serious thoughts on burning my suitcase and buying a whole new wardrobe.

The room smelled of urine. Called desk to get new room claimed hitel full. Rooms outdated. Carpet needs removed and hardwood floors installed. The entire hotel needs a makeover. The parking fee is ridiculous. Convenient location. Would not recommend.

Convenient to the falls and clean. The bed was comfortable. No stopper in the tub for a good soak. The other couple we were traveling with said their tub did not have one either. Breakfast was disappointing but at least there were pancakes in the fridge that could be dropped in a toaster. Two of the four toasters did not work. Coffee was good. Failure to disclose a $20/ night parking fee angered ourselves and two other guests that were checking in. Talking to a local about this, almost all of the hotels charge for parking on hotel grounds and do not disclose this. The dead bird hanging from the fire alarm at the bottom of the stairs did not inspire confidence. Due to the outdoor entrances, other guests tend to congregate outside smoking and drinking. It can become noisy. Overall it was a basic no frills place to sleep. Have photos but app not allowing uploads.

The hair dryer didn’t work. The dryer fixed to the wall was 220 v, obviously does not work on 110v. Had to go to the office for hair dryer. It didn’t work. Had to go back to the office to get another one. NOT GOOD!

The room was alittle out dated the room when i walked in had a weird smell air conditioning wasnt the greatest and the couple towels that were provided were pretty small other then that hot tub was great and bed was pretty comfortable
