Worst and filthy home
This was the worst booking I ever had.. first of all, when we reached, the keypad was not working, then got hold of host and after attempting two different codes, it worked.. when we went in, the whole house was mess with pan masala, alcohol including toilet, all bedrooms, kitchen and fridge. We called the host, he said there is no cleaners available and said he can deduct cleaning fee. We told him there is no way my family can stay at the house with pan masala was spot on the sheet. I asked for refund to the host and hotel.com several times but no positive response. After taking to owner and hotel.com, we returned home cancelling our trip. Hotel.com representative told me they would talk to host and get the refund Bcs it was purely the negligence from the host, but nothing happened even after following up 4-5 times. I have added all pictures here for your review and please dnt go into this place. Also, I called city of Niagra to complain and it shocked me what they said. city informed me that this place is running with no short term rental license and I assume it’s with no insurance. If something would have happened to us, there is no coverage. The similar complaints were in the past but there is no action from hotels.com. Also, hotels.com must make sure host has the license when they use the hotel.com platform. I am reporting this to city and media to avoid people face same issue. It’s sad it’s happening in Canada.. let my pictures speak the rest.

When we arrived the door code didn’t work, the house was very unclean. There was hair everywhere on the floor and counters. The carpets were not clean. They had stains and were not vacuumed so I was unclear if I was having an allergic reaction to pets or if it was dust?! The back sliding door does not lock so it was just unlocked the whole time and after asking about it we never heard back from anyone. There were no hangers in room Closets or any amenities for any type of stay over one night. They say use of washer/dryer but those were full with items. The home is lovely and fairly new I think, but it isn’t prepared for travellers

I booked the property for 2 nights. My check-in time was 5 pm, and I checked around 7 pm. To my utter surprise, I found the bedrooms all upside down and not cleaned after the previous guest left. I took pictures and sent them to management. The management could not find a cleaner for us that night. They asked us to wait till the next morning for the cleaner. I declined their offer. We waited for the management to clean the house for almost 4 hours with 4 kids who were tired and past their bedtime. I finally decided to leave the property at 11 pm that night and had to find a hotel to stay. I requested a refund for the nightmare experience. The management informed me it’s under their non-refundable policy. This is ridiculous because their policy must also ensure a clean unit for the guest before arrival. Nevertheless, I left the property with my family at 11 pm and had to move to a hotel around midnight. Expedia must ensure they don’t list such property, ruining their reputation.

First I would say detail about how when we reached the property. Approximately three hours before we reached there they called us and informed that the city is currently conducting construction work on the sidewalk.As a result parking on the sideway is strictly prohibited and there is no alternative solution to drop the car. NOBODY help or contact once we reached the property. Finally we drop our car side of the road. The funny thing is they already got the notice (about they are going to conducting construction)from the city on 4th JULY, but they informed us just three hours before we reached there. And secondly Their lamp table glasses doesn't secured with nail or glue.There was hole for fix the table. So what happened is that my son standing nearby the table and talking to my family, somehow the one of the glasses fell down into my son's feet he got pain and red on his feet and broken. We called them and informed them about what happened. Besides all these they charged from us 280CAD. t was not our fault.Either they should have informed us that the glass top was not screwed in or they should have secured it properly by law especially when they allow children to stay. We had to remove other 2 glasses top for our stay to be safe.So we gave them a courtesy by not putting a police report about it falling on my son's feet. In side the house was cleaned and neat.

The villa is beautiful and styled. Very clean, and did appreciate the whole bedding linen. They were the best covers are effective against allergies. Easy contactless check-in and check-out.
