Great Hotel, Great location :)

I just got back from a short trip to Nice alone. I searched for hours to try and find a suitable hotel and in the end, booked Hotel de la Fontaine based on the reviews. I agree with all the great reviews that the hotel is in a REALLY great location. A two minute walk to the beach and literally on the main road (Rue de France) of all the wonderful bars and restaurants. There is so much choice... The service at the hotel was fab! The lovely ladies at the desk were super nice and helpful - always with a smile and that also includes the two lovely guards at night! It is a three star and you may not get all the trimmings as you would with a 4 star/5 star, but for the price and the fact that the hotel was clean and rooms were nice, you can't go wrong. Some of the four star hotels I was looking at were further away and if you are like me and spent more time out then in the hotel (and didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount per night), in Nice, Hotel de la Fontain is the place to be! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Hope to be back soon! :)

Hôtel très bien placé.

Pros: L'accueil du personnel et son placement.
Cons: Mise à part que notre chambre était un peu petite pour 2, dans la salle de bain manque un point lumineux au dessus du miroir. Coin un peu sombre.
En effet l'hôtel est situé proche de la plage, de divers restaurants et commerces.

Chambre donnant sur rue avec boite de nuit en face

Pros: Chambre coquette et très propre
Cons: Insonorisation côté rue !!!!!!!
Location: Quartier bien situé proche de la mer et du centre ville
Nuit affreuse car boite de nuit en face la chambre donc vacarme jusqu'à 6 h du matin..... nous aurions apprécié être informé de ce "détail" pour une réservation d'un samedi soir.....

Top Hotel in angenehmer Lage

Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen, um gemütlich über die Promenade oder die Fußgängerzone ins Zentrum und in die Altstadt zu spazieren. Es war sehr ruhig und man hörte maximal, wenn ein Nachbar am Abend die Tür schloss. Zimmer und Bad waren klein, was in Frankreich aber nicht anders zu erwarten ist. Dafür war alles sauber und die Einrichtung wirkte sehr neu. Bin vollauf zufrieden und komme gerne wieder!

Viehättävä pieni sisäpiha, josta käynti huoneeseen. Huone pieni, mutta toimiva ja siisti kylpyhuone suihkukoppeineen. hiljattain remontoitu, ei homeessa. Laattalattia hieman viileä, Reiskat olisi pitänyt ottaa mukaan. Pihalla suihkulähde seinällä. Olisi ollut täydellistä, jos siinä olisi ollut vesisuihku, mutta hyvä näinkin. Hotellin aamiainen juuri riittävän monipuolinen ja henkilökunta ystävällistä ja huomaavaista, englanniksi helppo kommunikoida.
