Dear Guest, We thank you for redacting this summary about your visit to La Malmaison - our Boutique Hôtel in the centre of Nice. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you had experienced, on this occasion. Allow us to bring some clarifications: Unfortunately, your reservation was incorrectly confirmed due to a connectivity issue with the online agency. At the time of reservation, we were already fully booked. Since the technical fault lay with the said online agency, they were supposed to contact you, explaining the situation in advance. In order to assist you, as best we could, we booked you a room at the 4 stars Mercure Notre Dame Hotel, located in the City Centre with the same conditions to our hotel. We also offered a taxi, which is standard procedure at times of outbooking, however, you declined the offer and preferred to walk.
