Spacious room with space for two large suitcases. Good water pressure in the shower decent space for bathing. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices for all preferences. Automated check in/out kiosk made for no waiting in lines. Walking distance to train station and many dining options.

Things I like: The rooms look brand new, plenty of rooms available, beautiful view, large shared seminatural onsen, beautiful, clean. Nice hotel to stay in Niigata, great location just couple of minutes walk to Niiagata JR Station and restaurant area. Hotel condition is superb, very grand and welcoming lobby efficient self check in procedure that is comparable with big cruise line. Room size is adequate but packed with features and amenities. Bed and pillows are comfortable, and room is quiet enough for a good night sleep.

Arrived at the hotel with a group of six. My confirmed booking for six individual rooms was not honored. They only gave us five rooms and insisted that a cancellation was made just a few days prior to our check-in date. After over an hour of back-and-forth between the front desk and my Japanese speaking colleague, we managed to pay for a room just ensure that we had accommodations for that . I have no record in my account of this cancellation occurring. I’ve not been refunded for the prepaid room either.

The rooms that offered by APA hotel are all smaller than usual. Only 1 bottle of water is being offered to the customer for the whole stay. However, the facilities are good.

I liked it because it was in walking Distance to the Tran Station and the Spa was very nice. I didn't like that the air conditioning in the room didn't work properly.
