Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is a cosy small property situated in a 3,000 hectare Wildlife Conservancy known as Marloth Park.
Marloth Park is a popular place to stay for guests visiting Kruger National Park for some renowned Big Five game viewing. It is also a popular stop-over for guests en-route to Eswatini/Swaziland & Mozambique.
With no demarcation fences in-between the houses, animals roam around freely in Marloth Park. Our guests absolutely love the wildlife almost on their doorstep.
Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is a delightful open plan sleeper unit. The cosy cottage has a queen size bed and two single beds. The cottage is ideal for a couple or a young family.
The compact kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.
Our cottage does not have a TV - instead: you have 'African Bush TV' - your giant 'Outdoor Plasma' whilst relaxing around the outdoor boma braai (BBQ) or in the splash pool and enjoying the animals walking right up to the small wall separating the cottage garden from the parkland area.
Our guests are supplied with tea, coffee, sugar and sweetener.
Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is your ideal starting point for exploring Kruger National Park. As Marloth Park is situated in between two of Kruger National Park's southern entrance gates, you are spoiled for choice.
Crocodile Bridge Gate is 14 kilometers away and the Malelane Gate is 35 kilometers away.
We also have Kiburi Lodge @ Kruger available, if you need space for a larger group of guests. The house sleeps 4 people maximum. If both properties are available at the same time, we can accommodate a group of 8 people maximum.
Other activities nearby include Tiger Fishing, Elephant Safari’s, Quad Biking, Bush & River Walks and Bird watching.
Marloth Park is not a party venue. Visitors to our park appreciate the calm serenity of the African Bush and enjoy a peaceful break from their daily busy lives.
Remember your binoculars for game drives.
Very important to note: remember sunscreen and mosquito repellent in summer.
