We had the same problem we had last year with a mildew smell in the room. Many of the guests we talked to had similar problems and were having their rooms moved. This is something that needs to be addressed with the zip and stop pretending that it doesn’t exist.

Room wasn’t ready for 2 hours. Wait in hoodies in the heat. No one showed us around the resort or to our room. Had to find our room on our own, Key for room wouldn’t work… had to go up and down 3 times till the bell boy opened our door and had our keys fixed. They said we’d get a welcome package and we didn’t get anything. No room service past 10pm No hot water In showers Ac sucks. Only place that had AC was the gift shop. No restaurants other than a pool bar, and a bar shack. Pools are filthy. No drink or food service at beach or pool. Iguana poop everywhere. I would say service sucks but it was none existent… Went to eat and drink at other resorts down the beach. We will definitely stay at any resorts other than this one. Aruba is amazing divi sucks

Our room was perfect for our family.had a small kitchen, washer and dryer, and sofa bed. I didn’t like that it is an older hotel, and not renovated. Beach access is great.

Staff was excellent. Great location. Beautiful beach and great onsite food options. Nice to have a mini mart and small boutique onsite. Easy to get taxis. We had the non-updated 1 bedroom suite. Good size and beautiful views. Nice to have the kitchen. Lots of closets. Only issues: sofa bed not comfortable to sleep on, construction next door made it kind of dangerous to walk down to off-site restaurants at night - have to walk at edge of road, and constant wind blowing against sliding balcony doors made creaking noises all night (even when fully closed). King bed was super comfortable. Super soaking tub with jets - nice for baths, a little hard to get in and out of. Wish that bathroom had better lighting and more areas to dry swimsuits for family of 4. Also, swim up bar was so cool. And, they have a nice grilling area next to pools, with tables to "picnic". Overall, really enjoyed staying at the Divi Phoenix. I have a lot of wonderful family memories to keep.

Beautiful place right on the beach. The entire staff was amazing. We felt well taken care of. The room was perfect. The views from our balcony breathtaking. The only concerns were the construction and the cleanliness of the pool which was only noticeable our last two days.

Check in bad, elevators not working, house keeping did not supply us with kitchen supplies and not refill Shampoo and conditioner. Needed to ask for supplies. Did not receive welcome gift until 2 days later. When I went to pick up gift they ran out of supplies. No music by pool. Aerobic's class by the pool was scheduled for 11:30 and no instructor showed up and resort did not notify their guests that were waiting.

this a very old property that is trying to operate thru partial renovation.It is noisy. onlly two tiiny elevators serving 13 story tower. one was only operational and the other went out occasionally.The airconditioning had issues. the furniture was worn and chipped. For $550 per night there wasnt even a coffee maker in the room. We booked 3 nights but we advised the hotel we wanted to cancel our third night .They refused. we left anyway so we could enjoy what was leff of our vacation. This place should not be operating. There was no mention of renovation on the booking site and only upon check in they give you a letter saying the hotel is being renovated. Plan your stay elsewhere !!

This was our 13th visit to this property. We love the staff and all of the amenities. We also love that many of the same people return on the same weeks so it’s like visiting family. The staff is always there to help no matter what you need. We’ll be there next year again.
