Very nice room and view. Pool hrs should be extended tho. I don’t understand why there could be lifeguards on duty at night for the beach but none after 8pm for the hotel’s pool.

Ocean view, but disappointed overall
Let’s start with the good things…ocean view from the room is amazing and the lobby/bar area downstairs was very nice and cute. But for the price of the hotel, it was very disappointing. The pool area and chairs were dirty and disgusting (opposite of the photos shown online) and I didn’t see anyone there the whole weekend. My room was dirty in areas like the little platform area between bed and the wall (hairs and dirt) and the patio was very grimy as well. The hair conditioner bottle was empty and hair dryer didn’t work. I had 2 loads of laundry from a previous work trip, only to find (after I inserted quarters) the laundry soap dispenser was empty and broken. All of the things above seem like very easy fixes if the hotel had a little pride and maybe a simple checklist. :) For dinner in the area, recommend Esoteric and Pink Dinghy.

Was ok. The valet was excellent and staff. The room should have been a chair and table. No iron. Should have given you options between an iron and steamer. No bags in the trash can had to place my own bags. There was no bars of soap in my room or no lotion. Should have also had a rug on the floor.

It was a fun atmosphere and cool people, the live dj and band, and poker chips added a really nice touch. The breakfast was good also. However, we were really disappointed by the pool, the chair cushions were filthy and I was not comfortable sitting on them, despite a really cool layout. That was the main thing I looked for in a hotel, was it having a pool. Other that that, nice stay.

Our first stay at a Moxy style hotel and we loved it. The staff at the Virginia Beach Moxy were Fantastic, their attitude, friendliness and professionalism made our stay the best. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Go spend some time at the Moxy you need it! Oh and this includes the Belvedere diner staff as well. We ate there every day of our stay sometimes twice. The breakfast service was unbelievable the food was amazing and the staff was even better. How the diner became Kung Food in the evening was genius. Our only issue was we didn’t try it until later in our stay!!! It was amazing!!!!
