Enjoy the laid back atmosphere and warm ocean breezes of North Myrtle Beach at this three bedroom, two bath beach house. Only 200 steps from the front door to the strand, Coastal Cabana is situated in the popular Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. It is convenient to world famous shag clubs, shopping, dining, golfing, and tons of amusements for the kids.

This single-family home was fully renovated in December 2008 and again in 2022. Updates include fresh paint throughout, 18' ceramic tile downstairs and hardwood laminate floors upstairs, ceiling fans, new furniture and landscaping. Coastal Cabana features a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, washer/dryer, central heating and air, a sun deck on the upper level and a sun deck off the front porch, two new 32' LCD TV's, a 40” Roku LCD TV and a small yard for charcoal grilling (with Weber charcoal grill).

The master bedroom is on the lower level and has a king size bed (new for 2020). The furniture in the master bedroom was replaced with brand new designer furniture in 2022. The other two bedrooms and bathroom are located upstairs. The upstairs front bedroom has a queen size bed and a sliding glass door that opens to the ocean view sun deck. The upstairs back bedroom has two twin beds. This home has three TV's. The living room TV is a new 40” Roku LCD TV. The master bedroom has a new 32' 720p LG LCD TV. The upstairs front bedroom has a 32” LCD TV with built-in DVD player. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi internet.

Coastal Cabana is located near McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach. This is a public park with a playground for the children, ball fields, walking track around the pond, tennis courts, basketball courts, and grilling and picnicking areas. In the summer months, Mclean Park hosts a variety of concerts and festivals that the whole family can enjoy.

Come see all that the Grand Strand has to offer! Charter a fishing boat for half a day or go to the Cherry Grove pier and see if you can catch the big one. If not, you can visit the Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach or Alligator Adventure in Barefoot Landing and see all the wildlife our area offers. Play 18 holes at one of the many world class golf courses nearby. Spend the day at the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens or take home an original Pawley's Island Hammock! If you aren't tired from all that, choose from many of the challenging miniature golf courses in the area or stop in at Nascar Speedpark for a few laps around the track! Myrtle Beach has more than enough activities to keep the whole family entertained. If you are up for dinner and a show, the House of Blues is less than ten minutes away!

Great location!
Great vacation for the whole family, plus our fur babies! The first night was a little bit rough due to waiting for the upstairs to cool down for about four hours. Other than that and making the beds up, everything was great. It is really close to the beach and yet in a quiet area. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, but cockroaches!
The location of this property is amazing, and easy to find. However, while staying we saw 6 SIX cockroaches inside the home. On the counter in the kitchen and in the bedrooms upstairs, and livingroom. It definitely needs a very good deep cleaning and pest control. The table had food caked inside it. Could use new livingroom couches as you sink in the middle. The upstairs bedrooms are so unbelievably hot, even when we opened all the vents it was still so hot. We had 3 fans trying to push air up. The TV in the bedroom upstairs was missing, we did find it in the closest but it wouldnt work. (Probably why it was in the closet) All in all, if you don’t mind bugs, and doing a cleaning when you arrive it’s very close to beach.

I would stay here again, in a heartbeat! Beautiful home!
Great location! Plenty of parking, beds were comfy, safe neighborhood, toilets worked great, tubs drains correctly, loved having the new washer and dryer. Great that they put in a window a/c unit upstairs to make sure it stayed cool, (since upstairs generally is warmer in the summer compared to the lower floor). My kids slept comfortably upstairs, with the additional air conditioning. :-) Kitchen was well equipped and was very appreciative that there was so many kleenex boxes, just in case I needed to use a kleenex. The grill was great to used, when we grilled out for the 4th of July. Beautifully decorated. This is the second time we have stayed here (first time was 2 years ago). Owners were easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your home with us, so we could have a fabulous family vacation! God bless y'all!

North Myrtle Beach Gem
This house is very convenient to getting to the beach. It’s a straight shot to the beach access! It is comfortable and cozy. It is pet friendly and my dog loved it! The little backyard is fenced in so that makes it nice plus only 4 minutes to McLean Park to walk him. Being that it is pet friendly I was worried about smells. This house does NOT smell like dogs. Very clean. I would stay here again.

*READ YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT (and make sure they actually share it with you first)* I never received a rental agreement as this was an instant booking, but upon arrival was notified that it's "Bring Your Own Linens", which includes any towels and bedsheets. I've never traveled with my own bedsheets. Place was also not cleaned before we arrived, half inch layer of sand on the floors, dead roaches near the sliding glass door in the downstairs bedroom and someone else's stuff still in the fridge. Also trash can was full since clearly no one bothered to wheel it to the curb. I'll give it a star for proximity to the beach and another for accurate size/beds description. Otherwise be aware what you're getting into

Walk to beach
As another review states the 1st day was a little stressful. After settling in 1st night we where on easy street. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook whatever you want. Furniture comfy. Plenty of storage in Master. Close to everything. Bathrooms very clean. Will stay here again.

We loved our stay. The neighborhood was really nice. Really close to the beach. The house had everything we needed. Loved that our little border collie was welcome there as well. We would definitely stay there again. The house was well maintained.

Our new go to home away from home
As with any property we book online, we are always skeptical of what we are actually walking into. This listing and property was 100% the perfect fit for us. It was exactly what was described and presented in the pictures. Family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens) and our fur baby had plenty of room to relax, enjoy ourselves and each other. Our son recently had ACL surgery (knee) so ground level and close to the beach was important. Our son walked to the beach without any issues or complications ever! Being able to look out the kitchen window and see the ocean and our American Flag waving in the view was great. The beach was not crowded at all and we had plenty of room to set up in the sand without feeling like we were intruding on anyone else. The neighborhood was quiet so no worries on the neighbors being loud and keeping us awake. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us! We encourage you to book your stay and make this your home away from home like we did. We are already looking to book again later this year and next summer! Oh… and finding 295+ sharks teeth within 100 yards of shoreline over the 7 days was definitely a plus!! :)

Still a great place to stay
This is the second time we have stayed at this location. The last time was three years ago. We enjoyed the stay then and also this time. We recommended some improvements at that times and action was taken for improvements. The bed mattresses have been replace to something much more comfortable. Also the Livingroom furniture has been replaced and is more comfortable and provides more seating for guests. As before cable TV is limited but there is a Roku smart Tv which provides adequate view options with enough internet speed. There is also enough pots, pans, and other items to prepare and serve meals. We had pets with us and there is ample area for them to do their business and be away form the road. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. We hope to return in the future!

Great location and great house! Woud love to stay here again.
This has been the best home we've ever stayed at for our family vacations. Plenty of room for our family of 4, but could easily accomodate more comfortably. The beds were very comfortable.I was pleasantly surprised how well equiped the kitchen was (dishes, utensils, small appliances etc.). Only thing I felt that I needed was a dish drain as we prefer to handwash, so I swung by the Dollar Tree and picked one up. :-) We did have 1 small problem with the downstairs toilet, as it got stopped up. We tried clearing it with the plunger, with no avail. Reid sent someone out to clear it. It did work better after he left, but wasn't completely cleared as it wouldn't flush toilet paper. So, I just used the upstairs bathroom. I'm sure if a 6ft snake was used, it would have completely clear the blockage. I love the upstairs balcony! I would spend almost every morning enjoying my cup of coffee there and hang out there at night. I'm very thankful the unit had a washer and dryer, so that I didn't need to pack as many clothes. Super short and easy walk to the beach. Couches were comfy. My son did mention that the bedroom ceiling in his room, the light didn't work, as the chain was missing. He did appreciate that there was a lamp in there to use though.Glad they had extra fans upstairs as being on the top floor, it does have a tendency to be much warmer than the downstairs. We just kept it cooler downstairs to bring down the temp upstairs. It would benefited to having a separate a/c for the upstairs since the warm air rises. If this house is available to rent again, for our next family vacation, I would not hesitate to rent again. Certainly hope it will be available again next year. Met our needs. . Felt safe walking the dogs in the neighbourhood. Close to the beach. Enjoyed the upstairs deck. Some of the furniture was dated and could use some new paint to refresh it up. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Property
Our September 2021 stay was perfect. The home is very comfortable and has a convenient location. The short trip to the beach was easy but we spent a lot of time enjoying the front deck. It had a spacious outdoor shower too. We highly recommend and can't wait to go again!

So Disappointed
If you plan on coming for the beach and the beach ONLY, or WIFI and TV, this is great. Otherwise, keep looking. I knew the house was older but the age and/or uncleanliness of the house could be smelled before we walked in, as well as seen from the outside as the railings and chairs had mildew/debris. A bottle of Febreeze helped, but I bought one before I saw other bottles under the sink. Inside, the mantle, lamps, and furniture were caked in dust (I have pics) . The floor had dog hair - we had no dog. The light switches were nonfunctional so all the lights had to be turned on from the ceiling light itself which was a problem for my small children in their room who could not reach, and our room since the chain for the light was broken. We only had a small lamp in the corner of our room with a torn lampshade. So, if you don't mind walking into dark rooms, or changing in dark rooms, no problem (no blinds). I thought at least there are no roaches, but then my husband found and killed one in the kitchen. That's in addition the fly I killed upon arrival. Then the sink started to leak from rinsing dishes. The owner simply passed our complaints to the housekeeper Crystal and those in charge of the maintenance, but nothing was resolved except that he did send his in-law to direct us on how to lock the storm door because it wouldn't lock if you shut it all the way. But it did have a stick for protection, again laying in a dirty track. But we had to call them to come back and bring light bulbs for the five that were burnt out. Communicating with the owner stopped when I said it would be considerate for him to consider refunding some of our money for the state of the house. The housekeeper did clean the baths and kitchen well, but left food and dirt on the edges of the kitchen table. The upstairs heats up like a sauna, and they know it because there are about four floor fans up there. Other things were broken and/or stained. I had high hopes because the ratings were good and it seemed like a family-owned rental and they would understand families, but that was not the case. I didn't want to rattle on, but others should know what to expect, and we have photos to prove it. We even paid extra to stay for this particular week, but nothing extra was done for our sake. (I did break a glass for my fault if theres a reply about that, but the extra hundreds we paid ought to compensate)

This home had everything we needed and is in a good neighborhood. It was very easy to get to the beach and was very close to shops and restaurants. This was our first time spending a week in North Myrtle, and we absolutely enjoyed every minute we were there.

Perfect location
The location of this property was fantastic. However, we had several other issues, to include general maintenance of the property (the owner did send someone same day for 3 issues we found upon arrival). The maintenance guy did fix a fallen air vent right away, but didn’t fix the outdoor light that was out for another 4 days (so we couldn’t see walking up and down the entry stairs) and never fixed the bathroom door lock. It was also not very clean as we found several bugs and wads of human hair and animal hair over the course of the week. Also, for some reason the house is 80 degrees upon check-in so after a long drive we couldn’t put our son to sleep in the upstairs bedroom because it was way too hot and we had to wait about 2 hours for the ups stairs to cool down some. I will end on a positive note, the distance to the beach could not be beat. If the house were cleaner (esp with COVID being so prevalent) and a bit more maintained it would truly be a gem.

Outstanding Beach House
Very comfortable, close to the beach, well equipped kitchen. The upstairs deck was wonderful in the afternoon after a day on the beach and a rinse off in the outdoor shower!
