Great little spot

First impression was good. Clean and tidy overall. Plenty of room and furniture. The couches downstairs are overdue for a deep cleaning. Found long hairs in the bed and it's time for new pillows. Luckily I always travel with my own. Overall not a bad stay.

It was only a block from the beach the night walk on the beach was amazing and I love how peaceful the neighborhood was. I enjoyed myself.

4th of July getaway

Great beach house not far from Cresent Beach. Plenty of room for my girlfriend and I and 4 teenage kids. Daughter's had separate rooms with bathroom connecting the 2. My son had his own private room. No issues while staying. Address for high tide house (this house), is on Holly Drive. Not Perrin Drive.

Graduation beach trip

Brought my kids and their boyfriend/girlfriend to the beach for the week to celebrate high school graduation. The host was fantastic and so were the property managers. Enjoyed our stay and it was exactly as advertised.

It was fine until....

Lovely home close to shopping,restaurants,and the beach. The only problem we had was the neighbors next door to us. They were creeping around the property and into our guest vehicle.

Place was great for our needs. 2 bedrooms and LR downstairs & same upstairs. A bit confusing when address is on Perrin but you have to get to it from the street before you get to Perrin (Holly Dr).

The communication from the property manager was good and very prompt replies. The house is located in a residential type neighborhood just a block or so away from the public beach access. We enjoyed our stay there!

Close to beach but needs better cleaning

The house provided a lot of room for multiple families staying together and the walk to the beach was not long at all. The only issue was that the property needs better cleaning in between stays and the property needs bug spray. Concerns were discussed with the reality company and addressed to the extent possible. The shared laundry room had to have the door handle broken off because we couldn't get in. So maintenance put on a new door handle with a lock but no one provided a new key....thankfully we didn't get locked out again but in the future they need to provide a key for laundry room so renters don't have to call maintenance for a locked door.

Decent sized house w/ short walk to the beach

Had a great week staying here with my family. The two living areas were nice to have when you’re staying with a big family —doesn’t feel cramped and everyone can spread out. Having the wet bar was nice too. It was our drink/snack station before we headed out to the beach! Kitchen is also well stocked. The only improvements I would suggest is the exterior and having a detailed cleaning done throughout the entire house. The smudges on the wall/doors, dust on the baseboards, and stains on the carpet can stick out to you even though the important areas are cleaned pretty well (beds, kitchen, bathrooms). Other than that it was a great place for us. The walk to the beach is short (3 blocks down the road to a public beach access) and the neighborhood had some cute houses!

Would absolutely stay again.

I had communication with them numerous times before my stay and they were very prompt, courteous, and informative. Location, location, location. This beach house was in the best neighborhood. Quiet and less than 5 minute walk to the beach, and less than a 10 minute walk to beach stores, ice cream shop and Irish pub. Also 5-10 minute drive to grocery shopping and dining. The home was so large and roomy. All 6 adults there had a lot of room. It could accommodate more people easily. Location was my number 1. Large space was my number 2. If cleanliness is your number 1, this might not be the ideal location for you. Please still note that I gave it 4 stars as that was not my major priority. Would have given 4.5 if it was an option. The walls/doors, carpet, handrails, blinds, air conditioners, ceiling fans, outside of fridge were all very dirty. The linens, mirrors, sinks, inside of fridge, toilet and shower, which were my main concern were very clean. I also found it odd that I received a message a day prior to my stay, that I didn't read till I got there that said I was to bring my own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and dish and laundry detergent. Those had never been mentioned previously in the communications and most VRBO's I have stayed at provide all of those things except laundry soap. We were flying in so I needed to buy all of those things and left the extras so that hopefully the next patron doesn't have to. Only one dish towel and 2 kitchen wash cloths total were provided for the 2 kitchens. No hangers in the closets. I say these things not to complain, because we had a positively lovely stay and I would absolutely stay again. I only say that so the next patrons can come more prepared than I did. The daily free activities from Xplorie were a wonderful addition and saved us $115 and helped us with ideas of what to do. Wonderful stay, would highly recommend if location and space are your main concerns.

WORST STAY EVER

HORRIBLE CUStomer Service Property was extremely dirty not acceptable to stay at all. will never back to this property A/C units had 1 year dust & mold carpets were stinky dirty walls were broken and dirty Broken windows in the property wholes on the doors. we only sleep one night because we didn't have a choice but we went to Walmart and bought sheets for all the beds since actual ones were stinky dirty, next morning we check out call verb - horrible customer service too.
