Third time was the "charm"
When we arrived, the room we were given was lived in when I opened the door: beg unmade, beer can on the nightstand - I felt like I walked into another person's room. Went down to the desk and told the person working, who apologized and gave me another room. Same thing: walked in to see used towels strewn about the bathroom and an unmade bed. Went BACK down to the desk and was apologized to and told that it had something to do with managers staying on site and those rooms weren't made up. My daughter and I had spent the whole day in the car driving from Chicago and didn't need this lack of service upon our arrival. The person working the desk was very helpful and apologetic, but that was completely unnecessary and we shouldn't have been given those rooms - twice.

Hotel is in the midst of some nice upgrades. Small but adequate pet area. Breakfast selection better than the average but skip the coffee. Comfy beds! Water was hot but not a ton of pressure. Great overall for the night.

Would stay again, however next visit and would need to use own pillows. The provided pillows in the room are not comfortable ..to thick and to firm. They are little square ones so no opportunity to fluff them a little too help flatten. Other than that we are pleased and will start again next time through.
