Check in was very slow. Receptionist said I hadn’t paid or booked the two rooms yet I had email and credit card confirmation. Eventually it was resolved but it seemed there were issues with lack of understanding of their check in system. No security when we arrived back at 12pm and the reception area was unmanned and we were able to work to our rooms unchallenged.

Convenient & comfortable
Good hotel for a stopover in Rugby. Very convenient location, just off motorway & about 15 minutes from town. Room &. Shower room / WC ok, though very hot and AC didn’t seem to cool it (centrally controlled for heating / cooling) - so had to keep window open, though this was limited. Apart from that very comfortable. Room service had great choice, came quickly and was good. Lots of free onsite parking and plenty of fast EV chargers.

Staff were great, especially the young lads in the bar. Would be great if they could find my aftershave that I forgot to take home. The pie was a bit disappointing tho.

Convenient for what we needed
Nice hotel. We were here for 1 night on business. Pool facilities nice. Jacuzzi was a bit too hot for me and the smell of chemicals in it made my eyes sting. Bed a little hard for my liking. Not the hotels fault but we were next to a crying child as well which we could here all night, slightly annoying when we’d come on business without our kids.

Good for short stay.
Good place for a short stay, especially if you have an electric car as there are plenty of charging stations and lots of free parking. Comfortable bed, decent shower, good heating via electric radiator & air con. Room service snack menu looked interesting, though we didn’t need it. Breakfast was ok, though not very hot.

Staff and service were excellent at this property but the facilities are tired. Rooms are very basic, quite small and we had issues with our sink and telephone which were both broken. As mentioned, staff were great and the food was pretty decent too so if you’re on a budget, it’s worth a look
