After being a 5 star, Premier VRBO Owner for 17 years with our previous lake house--our newest lake property is Starfall Lake Retreat-- a gorgeous,  newly renovated gem in Northwood Lake in Tuscaloosa, Alabama--just 10 minutes from Campus. The spacious 4 Bedroom floor plan has 2800 SF,  with two king bedrooms and two queen bedrooms, plus a twin over full bunk beds in the huge downstairs King Studio.  Three full baths will make your stay enjoyable--for 8 adults plus a kid or two.  
Newly remodeled with quality fixtures and furnishings throughout, the main level bedrooms are a king bedroom with ensuite bath, plus two queen bedrooms and a hall bath.   Continuing downstairs is the large, light filled studio with another King bed, plus a twin over full bunk bed, along with a large bath, and a kitchen area.   This is a brand new listing with a longtime Premier VRBO Owner. 
Altogether, we  have a total of 4 bedrooms (one is the huge studio) plus 3 beautiful bathrooms.  The two king bedrooms, plus two queen bedrooms, along with the twin/full bunk beds in the studio, allow us to welcome a maximum of 8 adults, plus a kid or two in the bunks.   We are just steps to the community pool, tennis court, and ball field--as well as just around the corner from the launch area of the private 69 acre Northwood lake.    Best of all, we're just 10 minutes to campus and downtown with all the fun--and the best restaurants!

Our private backyard, with deck and ground level fire pit area invite lingering over dinner with a little music, great conversation, chirping crickets, and memory making. A propane grill on the kitchen deck is super convenient to serving dinner in the spacious dining room.  Everything in the kitchen is brand new and ready for your fun times!
Northwood Lake is very popular with Alabama professors, due to the easy accessibility to campus--and you'll absolutely love this location for football week-ends, or visiting your student at college--and of course, graduation--which always books early.  Great accommodations for a family vacation retreat--come enjoy the easy living!   Plenty of room for family and friends to spread out, or hang out together.  Families will love coming from afar, and enjoying a staycation together.  Bama parents will enjoy this beautiful and spacious home to entertain your student and their friends.

Our standard rates are set using dynamic pricing software, which are determined by local supply and demand.  Please inquire with your specific dates and guest count to get the correct quote for your booking.  Different dates will likely show different rates.  Please note that your booking is confirmed after payment and signed rental agreement have been completed.  Trip insurance is available, and always recommended at time of booking.   CFAR is Cancel for Any Reason insurance, and will give you peace of mind.  
Wonderful restaurants are also nearby in downtown Tuscaloosa, if you get tired of cooking out!  Bama parents love to stay when they come to visit their student, and there's room for extended family to come, too!   We are located in a quiet, family neighborhood, and don't allow house parties, because we respect our neighbors' serenity.  We have tried to provide everything you could need for your getaway vacation--and just as our guests have always loved their time at our previous lake house over the 17 years, we know our newly renovated Starfall Lake Retreat will be just as loved!    Our wonderful housekeeper lives just minutes away, should you need anything at all.
The neighborhood is very quiet at night, and we respect quiet hours from 9 pm to 9 am. This is a non-smoking property--inside and out.  We enjoy the night sounds and the stars,  while visiting on the deck, or around the fire pit, late into the night.   The DR table is super fun for family game nights, too!   Starfall Lake Retreat has Ring exterior floodlight cams for your peace of mind.  
Please NOTE:   Because our neighborhood is rural and quiet, please drive slowly, as children and pets live in the neighborhood--and you may see deer crossing the roads at night.  While our newest lake retreat is not waterfront--it is just around the corner from the neighborhood launch where you can take a fishing boat, stand up board, kayak, or canoe.   And we are just 4 houses down from the community pool, tennis and ball field
Sorry, we don't allow pets--this is our own vacation home that we love--and which we share with others when we can't be there.  Please give a little info about your visit and let us know if you're coming to town for a special occasion. NOTE:  During booking you'll have the opportunity to add CFAR (Cancel for any reason) travel insurance to your booking.  This will protect you should you need to cancel last minute--and  we highly recommend it.
