This holiday bungalow is a great choice all year round, perfectly situated to explore many of the amazing soft sandy beaches and famous Norfolk Broads National Park. Less than ½ mile from the high street in the market town of Stalham, with eateries, shops, post office and a supermarket on the doorstep. Decorated and furnished to offer modern contemporary accommodation boasting a lovely conservatory to relax within boasting views of the enclosed garden. Sea Palling has excellent sandy beach back by dunes, 11 minutes’ drive, with shop, café, small amusement arcade and trampolines (seasonal).
Situated close to the A149 coastal road provides great road network to visit the livelier seaside resort of Great Yarmouth and riverside village of Potter Heigham. The hamlet of Stalham Staithe is gateway to the Norfolk Broads, located on opposite side of Coastal Road, where you can find and enjoy daily boat hire and river trips to explore the miles of waterways, river fishing (seasonal and licence required). At the Norfolk Broads Museum (seasonal opening) you can discover the history of boating and The Broads. Wroxham, known as capital of the Broads, is 8 miles with shops, supermarket, riverside cafés, and restaurants. This is also home to the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow steam gauge railway visiting the nearby village of Coltishall and the market town of Aylsham. For quieter sandy beaches, take a trip to Waxham and Horsey, with soft wide sandy beaches back on to sand dunes.
During the months of November and January parts of Horsey beach are protected whilst the grey seal colony give birth, a great opportunity to visit and see nature up close. For great family fun days visit BeWILDerwood, a tree top adventure in Horning, Roar Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, indoor soft play, slides, outdoor adventure and splash park and Wroxham Barns with a small petting farm and play park. The city of Norwich has two excellent indoor shopping malls, market square, cafés, restaurants, pubs, cathedral, theatre, and castle museum. Great Yarmouth, 16 miles, with amusements, fun fair, pier, wax works, shops, and restaurants. Excellent walking can be enjoyed locally, with the Weavers Way running through the town and providing great opportunities to explore on foot or by cycle. Beach 4.5 miles. Supermarket, shops, pub, and restaurants under 1 mile.
